A hotel with a lot of charm in a calm and green garden. I enjoyed the sea water pool with a sun deck right next to the sea. The location is nice as it is walking distance to the main sights in Funchal. Hotel is older but well maintained.

The staff were all very kind, but the facilities were basic. There were no slippers, no tissues, no shampoo, conditioner or body soap in the room, only hand soap.
Also, even though I'm a woman, my room was on the first floor and was completely visible from the pool unless I closed the curtains, and I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs.
The staff were very kind to me, so I don't want to say anything bad about it, but I feel like they could have done something about it.
However, I wanted to catch the ferry, so I stayed at the closest hotel to the ferry terminal.

Simply wonderful, excellent service at the reception, the breakfast was very delicious, not to mention that on the day we returned, as we had a super early flight, the hotel left a cup of coffee in advance especially for when we were going to leave. Next time I will have no doubts about where to rest again. Congratulations to everyone at the hotel.
