Really well located hotel. Staff were very helpful/ friendly. It was my husbands birthday and they produced a cake which we hadn’t ordered, amazing. The roof top bar was lovely. We were only on bed and breakfast but a good choice was available. We had a lovely balcony and sea view, the rooms are bright and airy if slightly basic but adequate for a weeks holiday unless you want 5 star luxury. If/when we return to Madeira we’d definitely consider returning
