Hotels in Tenjin, Fukuoka

I chose this hotel purely for its location in the ”Tenjin shopping district,” and only after checking in did I realize it offered ”all-around convenience.” You can easily handle all your shopping and dining needs within walking distance – just around the corner downstairs is the Aeon supermarket, super convenient for snacks, souvenirs, or emergency items. If you want to try local flavors, you don't have to go far; the highly-rated Shinshin Ramen is nearby. After a tiring day of exploring, a bowl of tonkotsu ramen is wonderfully satisfying. For a hotel in a major shopping hub, the biggest surprise was the room size. It was significantly more spacious than other budget hotels I've stayed in. I could open up my 28-inch suitcase, and there was still plenty of space to walk around and put my carry-on bags without feeling cramped like a ”small box.” Plus, getting to the airport is super convenient; from the subway station near the hotel, it's just a few stops to Fukuoka Airport. No need to rush or meticulously plan your travel time way in advance, which is fantastic for travelers with luggage.

This is officially my favorite hotel ever! I finally got to redeem a voucher I'd been saving from a previous promotion, and it was also my first time staying at a luxury hotel in Japan. Being right next to Parco was incredibly convenient for serious shoppers like me. What's more, Tenjin Station is right downstairs, making subway travel incredibly easy. The room was unbelievably spacious, and the breathtaking window view was a huge bonus. I was pleasantly surprised by the three-fixture bathroom layout, and three sinks in the vanity area – amazing! They also offer a scenic afternoon tea starting at 2 PM; the treats were delicious and clearly not an afterthought. My only minor critiques are that the service was fairly standard, and the minibar was empty. However, these small issues don't overshadow the fantastic experience, and it's definitely a hotel to snag if you find a good price!

The hotel appears brand new, with excellent facilities, and its exterior also looks quite impressive. The staff were very courteous, and complimentary toiletries and coffee are available for unlimited refills at the front desk. I booked a triple room; the beds were on the smaller side, but the room offered a bit more space than what you'd typically find in Japanese hotels. The hotel's location is definitely a standout feature. Most of your shopping and dining needs can be met within a 5-minute walk. For instance, there's an Arc'teryx store with no queues and an Ichiran Ramen right outside, plus a large shopping mall directly across the street. Overall, it was excellent, and I would definitely book again.

A last-minute trip to Fukuoka led me to this hotel, which I had come across before. The hotel is quite new, and the room was clean. While not huge, there was enough space to comfortably open two suitcases. The location is incredibly convenient; it's situated right at the very end of the west side of Tenjin Underground Mall. Shinshin Ramen is just around the corner, and the lobby even has manga available for guests.

The location is excellent, surrounded by malls and close to the subway station. It's also very convenient to take the bus to Kumamoto, and there are many dining options within the hotel building itself. However, I'm not sure if it's the rooms Ctrip assigns, but both times I stayed (three days each), the rooms were quite bad. The first time, I was in the furthest corner with a view of rooftop facilities. When checking out, I left a note hoping for a room closer to the elevator next time. The second time, I was a bit closer to the elevator, but the view out the window was even worse – a concrete and glass wall!

It's roughly a 5-minute walk from the airport subway station, and very close to Parco, Tenjin Underground Shopping Center, and various trendy restaurants. Nakasu is a little further away, but overall, the location is quite convenient. The room was generally clean, but the facilities were noticeably dated. While some of the finer details of cleanliness were lacking, it was generally acceptable.

The room was spotless. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from Tenjin Station. Ichiran Ramen's main store is conveniently located right across a bridge from the hotel's back exit. The surrounding area features a large commercial district, and you can even enjoy yatai (food stalls) in the evenings. Canal City Hakata is only a 13-minute walk away. Amenities include a coffee machine, microwave, and washing machine.

There is such a large space in southern Japan, the best thing is that the bathtub is oversized! And it is super close to the house, Xiaojin will be super close to ～～～ space is large enough to open 6 suitcases.

I visited Fukuoka for a concert. The venue was a manageable 20-minute walk from the hotel. I got to the hotel over an hour early, fully expecting to just drop off my bags, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out I could check in immediately! The room wasn't massive, but it had everything I needed and I was very pleased with my stay.

First off, the location is about a seven-minute walk from Tenjin Station. There's a police station nearby, so it doesn't seem too dangerous, but there are a few drunks on the street, making it a bit of a late-night walk. The infrastructure, including convenience stores and restaurants, is excellent, perhaps because it's Tenjin. Each room has a balcony, and the ventilation is impeccable. I've never seen a studio apartment this spacious during my trip to Japan. I was very satisfied with the value for money and was able to relax comfortably. The bedding was clean, and the front desk even provided amenities and bath salts. Ice and coffee are available at the entrance, and there's a laundry room and microwave/oven on the first floor. There's also a pub, though I didn't go. The area was relatively quiet, and it was a very satisfying stay. I would 10,000% return.
