Toyoko Inn Hakata Ekimae Gion

There was a small incident when I booked the room. The hotel indicated free parking, but I found out after booking that there was a charge, 1,000 yen per night. The price was reasonable, but it was indicated free parking before booking, and I felt disappointed when I found out later that there was a charge. Trip.com helped me solve it.  The hotel staff provided good service, were polite and everyone had a smile on their face. In addition, I have stayed in Toyoko hotels many times, and their self-service check-in machine can never find my order number/name/phone number. This is a bit troublesome because I have to repeatedly enter repeated numbers during the process and many times it was unsuccessful. The service staff had to help me check again before they found another check-in number. I think the facilities are sufficient. I just want a toilet and a bed to sleep in. However, the air in the room is not good. I stayed there for three days. Even in a non-smoking room, the smell of smoke was very strong and it hurt my nose. The hotel lobby provides general supplies such as facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, etc. I think the breakfast is enough. It is a Japanese breakfast with different styles for two days. This is good. Except for the room smell, everything else is good.

Toyoko Inn has always been the first choice for traveling. It is affordable, has neither too many nor too few services, is close to transportation hubs, and has a good breakfast. Hakata Gion Toyoko Inn is also very close to several famous attractions, and it only takes five minutes to walk to Setsuda Shrine. The only pity is that the room is too compact, but it is worth the price.
