First and foremost, we chose this hotel because of the dinosaurs—of course! And it was absolutely amazing. We were two friends traveling together, and the room was spacious enough for us. We had a medium-sized suitcase and a duffel bag, and we managed to store everything comfortably.
In the hotel lobby, we picked up robes and all the necessary toiletries, which was very convenient. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We'd read that one of Fukuoka’s local delicacies is Mentaiko (spicy cod roe), but we hadn’t had a chance to try it at any cafes—so getting to taste it at breakfast was such a pleasant surprise. Thank you for that!
The location of the hotel is great—close to pedestrian-friendly streets, the sea, and not far from the central park. There’s even a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you directly to the park.
The window in our room opened, so we could get some fresh air, and it was very quiet at night. Just next door is the original Ichiran—the birthplace of Futaba Ramen. The lines can be long, but it's definitely worth visiting. We went at 7 a.m. and there was no queue at all.
