Hotels near Hakata Port Tower in Fukuoka

I chose this place as I was coming from Busan by boat and attending sumo tournament the same day, and the location proved to be very handy. Staff was nice and provided plenty of information when asked. The place itself is nothing short of a business hotel although the price was much lower than average. The room was pretty large and I even had an actual bath (albeit not large) in the bathroom. The breakfast looked gorgeous on pictures but when next morning came it was just an okay buffet with a small main dish. The only actual downside is that it's far from the other main attractions and buses in Fukuoka were pretty expensive. I think I'd like to return there the next time I come by ferry as the value for money is huge and the location so convenient in that regard.

Location was not near to any train station but if you can take the bus it would be a bit easy. We stayed 3 rooms for 4 nights and most of the time we enjoy our walking trip. The area is very quite you cant even hear any sound which is great. Near by got Max Value which is a lot better than small convenience stores. I actually like the hotel a lot. But one comment is one of the room we got have a strong smoking smell. Taxi is a great option by using Didi app

Stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is new and clean. The reception is located near Hakata Station with free flow of beer and other drinks. To go to hotel from reception will need about 25min walk. The best is to use the bus. The nearest train station in this case is the subway about 15min walk from the hotel. I would suggest you get a Fukuoka bus pass if plan to stay here as bus stops are nearer. The bus timing is not as on time as train but overall is consistent. There are two convenient stores nearby, 6-12min walk. Hotel have 2 paying parking lots. Drinks vending machine and microwave oven in the lobby. In the room is complete with usual amenities. There is no one coming to clean your room for the period of your stay hence the drinking water will not be restock. You could either buy from vending machine or cook your own or drink from tap. Checking out is simple. Just drop your key into the check out box near the exit.

From Fukuoka Airport, buy the one day subway pass (it is cheaper as you can go for unlimited rides). Take the subway from airport to akasaka station exit 5. Come out. walk 10m and turn right at first junction. Hotel is about 400 m to the right as you walk down the lane. There is a small carpark in front of the hotel and it is covenient to drop there and collect your bags. The staff is nice and welcoming. You collect what you require for your stay from the table provided at the registration area. I will come back again.

The environment is very good. It's not far from the subway station. It takes 3 or 4 minutes to get there. There are a lot of wild food nearby. In addition, the room has independent air conditioning. You can adjust the temperature by yourself👍🏻The room is clean and tidy. Although the space is small, it is very comfortable!

As much as you need at the lower front It was a style to take with you 😰 It was completely like a business hotel. Guest room Wi-Fi can be accessed by pressing the power button yourself. The type I use has poor connection. That's too bad. Shampoo conditioner, body soap An old hair dryer is also installed. Turn the same switch when using the refrigerator. The type that you turn on and use! Two plastic bottles filled with water There is also a kettle and tea bags at the front desk. The style of bringing it to your room and drinking it 🍵 Ironing boards are available for rent on the 11th floor. There was also a laundry room! It looks like the room on the first floor will be cleaned on the 2nd. I found this hotel a step up from a conventional business hotel, perhaps because of its location far from the busy Tokyo-Osaka corridor. The check in was smooth and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even with a late night check in. I ended up in a twin room so there was plenty of space. All the usual amenities were provided and there were handy USB ports for charging. It was quiet and clean. Breakfast was a fixed set, Japanese style, but very nicely cooked. No complaints there but if you find rice, fish, pickles, and lotus root unappealing first thing in the morning, best to look elsewhere. I think it has changed name fairly recently, so my taxi driver didn't know the hotel, even when shown the address. So anyone arriving in directly from the airport be prepared with a map and details. It was just over 2,000 yen, by the way--very reasonable. The location for me was excellent, next to the conference centre, and there are lots of convenience stores nearby as well as restaurants by the harbour. Overall, above expections.

I’m a frequent guest at Millennial Kyoto and couldn’t be more delighted to hear that they open a new hotel in Fukuoka. Millennials Fukuoka is in a strategic location close to restaurants, mini marts, and lots of stuff going on in the Area. It’s sparkling clean and well run. Their staff, especially Faith are extremely helpful. I had a great stay and would love to return when I’m back in Fukuoka.

This hotel is in a very strategic location, with good facilities. but the walls of the room are not soundproof so you can hear sounds from the side rooms. But overall oke.
