"Courtyard Fukui is my favourite hotel in my trip across Chubu region. The location is fantastic; it is just a small street across he Fukui Station where you will find a few dinosaurs with animatronics. No lack of food and souvenir options around. It’s a new hotel and lots of modern amenities. The twin beds are big and comfortable. The hotel and FUKUMACHI BLOCK, a mall of sorts are linked. You park at FUKUMACHI BLOCK which costs JPY2000 for 24 hours. Marriot Bonvoy members get a discounted rate for JPY1500 (you validate and pay at the hotel reception)."
"I was traveling from Osaka.
The hotel was very clean.
The front desk staff and everyone else were lovely.
I had to walk a bit to get to the nearest convenience store,
which was inconvenient for someone who normally lives in Osaka, but I wanted to spend some quiet time, so I was able to relax in the big bath and enjoy the cherry blossoms from the window.
The bath was all ReFa, which was very helpful since I forgot my usual shampoo.
The shampoo bar is great.
I forgot the leave-in treatment, but it was smooth! It would have been perfect if I had had ReFa oil, but the hair dryer and shower head were also ReFa, which was fun!
I didn't have a meal, but I thought it would have been good to try it!
I'd like to go again!"
"A cosy hotel with really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was a little small compared to what we have been used to. But the helpfulness and friendliness of the Hotel staff made up for everything. Air conditioning on the first night was a little hot (we went to Fukui in the summer time), but was OK on the 2nd night. You can choose your own pillow and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, cotton buds, sewing kit etc) from the 5th floor - so funny! But reception is on the 5th floor (not the 1st). The hotel thoughtfully provided a laundry drying rack so you can dry laundry in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body foam (made with Royal Jelly) made my hair really soft and manageable! Very convenient to drive to Tojinbo Cliffs too!"
"2025/5/13-15 Twin room 2 nights
The room is not very big, but it has all the normal amenities and central air conditioning. It is an old-fashioned hotel.
The buffet breakfast is on the second floor ~ the dishes are pretty good
There are many paid parking lots nearby, which is very convenient.
Located next to Fukui Station, convenient transportation"
"The hotel was in a very good location, near Fukui Station and a walking distance to many izakayas and restaurants. The onsen bath was very relaxing. Rooms are very clean and modern looking, so as the common areas and lobby. Highly recommended for your stay in Fukui. Service would have been perfect if they give free car parking vouchers. There was a big car parking close to the hotel unfortunately no parking vouchers were provided after informing the front desk."
"Great hotel in Fukui. Modern clean with friendly and patient staff. Breakfast was great and they continue serving coffee through until 10 if you want to top up your caffeine intake.
The hotel is about 20 steps from the JR station right next door as well as the Echigo Railway. The up side of this was I was able to dash to the hotel and leave my bag there saving me a few hundred yen on a locker and then boarding the Echigo railway for a day trip to Katsuyama. The down side is you do get a fair bit of noise from the trains trundling past. Overall though it very happy."
"I am very impressed with the Hotel Route-Inn Fukui Ekimae. The place is very near the Fukui station.
The room is clean and comfortable. The staffs are very kind and helpful.
The breakfast was delicious with a variety of international and Japanese cuisine.
It's very surprised that the hotel provides kid amenities including the kid book corner.
If I have a chance to re-visit Fukui, I will not hesitate to choose this hotel again."
"This hotel offers a wide range of amenities, making it comfortable and convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Recommended for travelers seeking a comfortable stay."
"I used it to go to Sundome for LIVE.
In terms of location, it's far from the station, so it's not convenient, but if you go by car, there's no problem, there's plenty of free parking, and there's a lot of supermarkets, home centers, Don Quixote, and restaurants nearby, so it's convenient. is!
The room was clean and it was nice to be able to just check in when I went to put my luggage first.
The bed was big and it was great.
In addition, it is hotel which we want to use by all means."
"The large communal bath was large and the hot springs were good. I want to use it again when I go to Fukui. The room was large and cozy. Fukui has many places to go sightseeing and I plan to go again. The building is a magnificent building with a very historic history."

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the train station, just two or three minutes' walk away.
The hotel is medium-sized, the rooms are spacious, but the bathroom is a bit small.
There are not many types of breakfast, but the taste is good. There is free ramen for midnight snack, and the noodles are chewy.
ののあ大好きAlthough I made a reservation for one adult and one child, for some reason when I checked in, it was only booked for one adult.
However, they later delivered pillows and slippers for the children to our room and apologized, so I didn't feel uncomfortable.
There was a large public bath and breakfast was included, so we had a comfortable stay. The free coffee was also a nice touch.
There was also a large shopping center right in front of the hotel, so we were able to shop and have dinner on foot.
GGuest UserVery nice people, very friendly, very complete settings, will stay next time, highly recommended, great location, close to the station, very convenient transportation, worth everyone to stay for a night to experience it
AAnonymous UserThe Japanese-style room has three floors and no elevator. It is booked overseas nearly a month in advance. The store actually arranged to live on the third floor! The waiter helped to carry the suitcase upstairs. He was tired enough. The service three stars were given to him. Check out and climb the box.
The room is not big, public toilets, public bathrooms, many years have not lived in rooms without separate toilets, bathroom baths must be reserved in advance, can be washed for half an hour. Sound insulation is not good, affecting sleep.
Nearly 20,000 yen per night on weekends, I feel like I have been a big head, the facilities are old, fortunately it is still clean, maybe it is a cultural difference, it is indeed a different experience.
GGuest UserThere was a big bath and the room was clean. I was in trouble because there was no hotel on this day, but it was great to be able to stay so cheaply. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserI like a european staff who helped me to check in. She's sweet! Give her appreciation😚 there's no problem with the room actually, but the lighting was just too dark for me, but its okay bcs i booked the hotel to rest. But one thing that made me disappointed is the BREAKFAST! There were some food that has run out and is no longer being taken for new ones, the fact that the staff is sometimes checked to the foods . I mean i pay for breakfast, but how can i get what i deserved??? Is it just bcs i am foreigner? I don't know. Well, next i will still come back to the hotel bcs the receptionist was sweet but i will not have the breakfast.
