Go to Yosemite to choose Fresno as a transit station, arrive at the hotel in the evening, the hotel is good, there are good restaurants nearby as a choice. By the way, I also went to target. Nice hotel choice.

Outstanding service from Langdon who greeted us with a smile and was very professional. The room was clean and quiet. We were happy with the breakfast offerings - breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, milk, juice, pastries. Nice convenient location next to the airport. Good value for choice privileges members at 10K points. Only drawback was that the pool wss closed for maintenance.

My daughter stayed here one night for work in Fresno. Check in was easy - staff very friendly. Room was clean. When traveling, she likes to bring her own pillow. Upon check out and already at her job (at nearby hospital) she realized she forgot her pillow. She contacted the hotel via the Marriott app and ”Joey” at the front desk said he would notify housekeeping and pillow would be at front desk. Just a short time later she realized she also had left her jewelry on the nightstand. Panic set in. Another inquiry and Joey again to the rescue indicating that housekeeping had also found her jewelry and it would be at the front desk waiting. In times like these it is reassuring to know how honest and going the extra distance the Fairfield Fresno Hotel is and how easy it is to use the app. A BIG thank you to Joey at the front desk for being so helpful and prompt. And also to housekeeping staff. Pillow and jewelry were at the front desk as soon as she was able to leave work. Fantastic hotel - highly recommend.

When I travel, I look for Best Western hotels because the experience is relatively the same at each location - the rooms are clean, the amenities are nice, and the customer service is satisfactory. My only complaint about this location in particular is that I got a room near the front of the building, and a very bright white light was shining through the window, and the curtains were transparent. So my room was lit the entire night. I brought a sleeping mask but it did not help much. Blackout curtains would've been appreciated.

Really very very, very dissatisfied with a stay Hotel service is very good, the front desk is also very enthusiastic, but the hotel's hardware is really desperate. The hotel is very poorly soundproof. The three-story fountain in the lobby facing the lobby is very noisy all night, and you can hear the sound of the toilet next door in the evening. The air-conditioning noise of the hotel is also very loud. The sound of the bang is completely unable to sleep. It is almost impossible to sleep after being awakened by the train outside at 4 am.

i stayed here feb 19 for a few days,the staff was very friendly,the room on the 4th floor faced the freeway but was very clean and quiet, the bed and pillows were outstanding!!!! wish i could have taken the pillows home!!! the hotel has breakfast in the mornings and was great different items each morning,really a great way to start the day,the food was very good and staff kept everything fresh!!!lots of fast-food places within walking distance(short short)walk and also a denny,its right off the freeway and another motel it almost seemed like an unsafe area but i had no problems what so ever,excellent decor to eat brkfst in,tv,fireplace...again my room was really clean,microwave fridge iron and board well worth it,they have a pool and free beer and wine in the evenings

GGuest UserI’ve stayed at Fairfield Inns several times in Canada, but this was my first time in the US. When I first walked into the room, there was a very strong chemical smell that I found totally unpleasant and overwhelming. It only dissipated by keeping the window open almost all of the time during my 4-day stay. The other major issue is that there weren’t enough light sources. The room was rather dark, especially at night. The only overhead light in the room was the one near the door, and it was on a timer. So, I had to stand up every 15 minutes to switch it back on. There was a reading lamp and a strange object below it that could have been an ottoman since it had no back. I would have loved a reading chair in the room. Instead, there was this weird ottoman-like thing without a back that didn’t function as a chair. Perhaps it was just a spot to place a suitcase. I have no idea. The walls were very thin, as I could hear my neighbor’s TV quite loudly all the time they were in the room. In addition, I really would have liked a safe in the room. On the plus side, the walk-in shower was great and the breakfast was very good. I send a shout-out to Tony, the person who checked me in. He was extremely good-natured and helpful. I wish all employees at hotels were like him. Overall, this hotel was a mixed bag, especially with regard to the room odour. I would probably try another hotel if I were to come back to town.

Amazing lobby restaurant with great tapas, live band, good selection of drinks, and very friendly staff. Great vibe. I was trying to book Piccadilly inn airport in Fresno but ended up booking this. Was asking if there’s any airport shuttle and found out I booked wrong hotel 😂. It wasn’t that far with Uber to airport and downtown Had a big shopping mall next to the hotel so very convenient. Also a great Italian restaurant close by. Provide to go breakfast and very good coffee. Has a coffee machine in room. Overall great experience.

GGuest UserThis hotel has construction, and we were only told upon check-in to expect an 'inconvenience.' The noise beginning early in the morning on Monday, the second night of our stay, was absolutely unbearable, and ruined our morning on the day of preparation for a relatives funeral. Literally sounded like a jackhammer on the wall outside our room. They’re doing stonework. There's dust flying everywhere. There's loose plaster on the carpet in the elevators and the hallways. Construction workers come and go in the elevators alongside customers with all their equipment and mess and noise. There's an operating cherrypicker in the registration area of the parking lot with no safety cones. You walk out the East guest door on the first floor into a total hardhat situation with people doing stonework on ladders overhead, construction material blocking the exit, and the door is usually propped open all day. I politely told the front desk that we unfortunately needed to check out 2 days early due to the noise, and requested a late checkout to 3pm because we had appointments at the church, and funeral home, and hadn't planned to have to change hotels today. Note that I'm a platinum member, and didn't expect this to be an issue whatsoever given the unusual circumstances. I was denied, and asked for the manager, who promptly flatly denied my request with literally the rudest most uncaring expression and flat tone possible. I reinstated my request and attempted to explain my situation, and the manager admitted that the hotel was not booked (obviously because my room was already spoken for for 2 more nights), but still, she flatly denied me. She finally told me it was because the hotel could experience 'loss of revenue.' So I'm here to tell you that if revenue is more important than customer experience or showing compassion to a customer you placed in a difficult situation, I will no longer be staying at La Quinta. I'll certainly never step foot in this one again, in a town I visit every month. And I’ll be demanding a full refund from La Quinta Platinum Customer Service, let’s see where that gets me. I also recommend anyone else over the next few months seriously reconsider. I don't care about your loss of revenue. Close this place, finish it up, and reopen. With a new manager. There are several really nice hotels with similar rates in the immediate area.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this location as a way stop while helping move our daughter to southern California for school. We were caravanning with two cars loaded with household items. Prior plans to connect with family in the Yosemite area (and keep things secure overnight) had to be hastily changed because of evolving wildfires. We made a last minute reservation and pulled in to this hotel later in the evening. Ever aware of possible security risks, but knowing there wasn’t any way to avoid leaving things in the cars, we took a little comfort that they had someone sitting outside the hotel entry who the desk indicated was there to watch the cars –and we did take more valuable items like laptop computers to the room. When we returned to our cars early the next morning, both of them had smashed backseat windows. The household items, mostly packed in storage bins, were untouched. However, about half of our daughter’s clothes that were in a large stuffed duffle and two handmade quilts – one she’d made with her grandmother last year before she passed – were gone. I’m giving the hotel 1 star because of security. The security person they had out front seemed to be semi-catatonic, which had prompted my inquiry at the desk when we checked in, and which in hindsight should have raised more questions. However, with a last minute, nonrefundable reservation and being at the end of a 12 hour day of driving we didn’t feel like we had much choice. The signs about not leaving valuables in your car that dot the parking lot also aren’t much help, except for the hotel to be able to say “we told you so”. This is a hotel along the highway -of course there are travelers with stuff –most people aren’t just making a short trip to the corner mall. The hotel staff nicely helped get us trash bags, broom and vacuum to clean up all the broken glass, and provided the phone number for the police, but didn’t do much more. I asked about security camera footage since we were right in the field of view for two cameras –but the front desk couldn’t reach their manager to get permission to share it. I left my name and phone, but never heard back. We called the police immediately upon discovering the damage and stolen items, but they didn’t show up and so we left to start looking for someplace that could replace broken windows on a Saturday (hint, auto dealers aren’t likely going to be able to help). We got one car fixed at a glass shop associated with the local pick-n-pull –but it took about half the day. The other vehicle, which was less than a week old, I ended up driving to southern California without a window (which means other windows also have to be down to avoid the resulting wind throb –that’s fun for 4-1/2 hours) with the hope of finding a dealer to make the repair near our final destination. In the end, this is a crime hole. Until the Hotel finds way to really effectively ensure safety and security (it’s a cinch as others aren’t going to) you’d be be

GGuest UserCame here for a sports event. They are the most reasonably priced so we decided to stay and I am also a Wyndham platinum member. Check in was pleasant and quick. The hotel and the room are clean but it is very old. Wyndham needs to consider modernizing their hotels at least the mid-level ones. Our TV is glitchy and the ice machines in our floor did not work. We did mention it to our staff when we checked out so hopefully they get it fixed before someone else checks in. Breakfast was a grab and go breakfast which included a bottled water, granola bar, cheese sandwich crackers and peanut butter sandwich crackers. It would be more appropriate to have muffins or other breakfast pastries for breakfast rather than snacks. Check out was smooth. We don't mind coming back if there's another sports event because this is the most reasonably priced hotel in the area.

DDaniel LI stayed 47 days at this facility recently checking out last week. Context: I have stayed at a wide range of hotels from Motel 6 to the Ritz Carlton for business and vacation. This hotel is as the name states. It is for extended stays. Most of the clients I saw were contstruction contractors, truckers, and other types of businesses on the road. There are also long term tenants who seem to be using this as an apartment stay. Pros: -Value: For the price, the value was unbeatable. Hot shower with good pressure. The bed was nice. I got clean sheets once a week. I had a full sized refrigerator, stove, and microwave. There was no garbage disposal and no dishwasher, but for the price I can understand. Service: The front desk was professional and friendly. Keep in mind the pricing. One doesn't expect the Ritz concierge service. Instead it was more like a friendly neighbor helping you out. I met a variety of different front desk staff at different times of the day on weekdays and weekends, and all were professional and courteous with me. The front desk does close at 10pm, but there is an outside phone that you can use. I had to use it at 1:00 AM because when I came back from work my hotel key no longer worked. It changes once a week, and that was the day I had to work late. However, I went to outside phone by the front office and called. The overnight attendant answered the phone and swiped me a couple of keys and was very friendly about it. Security: It was very well lit throughout the parking lot and the hallways. I felt safe overall. I do not think they have any security patrol, but it is so well lit as well as being in part of the town with low crime. -Physical plant: The rooms have linoleum floors. There is no carpet. The rooms are mildly dated, but again, I felt it was fine for the value. I was very comfortable with the furnishings of the room. The TV is a flat screen TV with the usual cable TV assortment and showmax and showmax 2. -Laundry: There are washers and dryers on site. The front desk provides change and detergent for a fee. -Convenience: It is nearby Costco by car. A Shop 'n Go convenience store is down at the corner. It is right next to the highway. -Amenities: Wifi is free and strong. I also contacted the tech support, and the call center person was able to hook up my laptop, iPhones, and iPad to the free wifi for 3 weeks until the end of the month rather than having me renew the wifi connection every 24 hours. That was convenient. Good air conditioning was available, and I used it. They provided me plenty of soap, shampoo, towels, and toilet paper. The kitchenette does not come supplied with pots, pans, etc. You order the setup that you need from the front desk and then pick up your package. This was fine for the value. PPENGI heard from customers that the surrounding area is not very safe, so I took everything in the car to the room. Actually, it was OK, nothing happened. The room is quite big.
