2-Star Hotels in Foz do Iguacu

Positive points: - we arrived before the check-in time and we managed to access the room, because we were tired and hungry - you have some accessible and good food restaurants near the hotel (but in weekends you don't open) - quiet place - if you want cleaning in the room, just leave the key at the reception - air conditioning worked well - TV worked - we could use the freezer without problems - we could ask food for the ifod and wait for delivery without problems - 24-hour reception - very sympathetic hotel team - excellent breakfast - bus point next to the hotel that goes to the centre and the terminal - by car, stay at about 15 minutes from the center - is close to Paraguay - down the street on the left side, you have a few shops, a wide-split shop is a good access Negative points: - We complained three times because the shower was leaking water without stop, it was rugm to sleep in the night and left the whole bathroom wet. We understand that the problem was great ( that we had to break the wall in the register area and so on) but they did not help us to threaten the problem. - sometimes the internet fell in some points of the hotel - TV wasn't smart and was very small - very small towels - the pool was only with clear water on the first day of arrival, on the fifth day we decided to enter the pool, but it was already with very dyed and green water. - one of the single beds that formed the couple bed had a big drowning and we were turning the bed - We saw a cheap restaurant and four deaths in the poison box in the kitchen - at weekend you have no opening nearby. To eat, just ask some delivery or go to the center - although breakfast was excellent, the cardapio was always the same every day

Excelente custo/benefício. Instalações novas e aconchegantes. Café da manhã top e excelente atendimento. Ficamos uma semana hospedados e voltarei com toda certeza. Localização privilegiada em frente ao Shopping JL, onde você tem mercado e farmácia, várias opções de lojas e restaurantes.

O hotel é super antigo e escuro. O quarto para cinco pessoas é amplo, com duas televisões de led, uma delas bem grande. Porém o banheiro.... bidê??? O chuveiro é fraquinho, esquenta pouquíssimo... e olha que nem estamos no inverno! Não tem espaço para colocar itens de higiene pessoal dentro do box. Mas, acreditamos que o pior de tudo, seja o barulho. O objetivo da hospedagem é conseguir dormir e descansar. Esqueça! Qualquer movimento ou fala nos corredores ou andares superiores/inferiores, você escutará, a noite toda. Sem falar na claridade dentro do quarto. A cortina e o blackout são curtos, então, a luz passa todinha. Enfim, que bom que só dormimos uma noite e já saímos bem cedinho, antes do café da manhã.

The hotel is well located, well close to the bus terminal with lines to all tourist points in the city. I have no complaint from the staff, especially of Christian, Luiz and Henrique, who stay at the reception and were very careful, giving us several tips about the city. However, it has been a very unpleasant situation in which we have been going over with the air conditioning. Unfortunately, we had the chance to go in a very cold week to Foz do Iguaçu (with temperatures of 6 degrees and that were not beyond 12 degrees) and when we connected the air conditioning the device was not heating, it was only the function of cooling the environment. We asked at the reception and told us that the hotel had only cold air conditioning, because the city was very hot almost all year and that hotel pattern (3 stars) had no warm/cold cycle air conditioning. My mother and I were very angry, but as we had paid for staying, we were finally staying. However, one day after we asked about the air, we were talking with another guest and she said her air was warm enough and she had not only the cold option. I felt really injured and misleaded, because I paid the same value as the other guest's daily and I stayed three days in a very cold, i.e. stay at Hotel Villa Canoas only in the summer if you don't want to get cold.
