W e stayed here for 2 nights while we visited the falls. It’s sold as a 4 star hotel but personally, compared to the other 4 star hotels on our trip , it didn’t match up. Our room was very dated and needed a complete renovation. We had to be checked in again on the second day , as the person who did it when we arrived had lost our info ? The bar was very limited and there was nowhere relaxing to sit and have a drink. Outside was just concrete with white plastic chairs. At breakfast the tablecloth was dirty and the coffee machine needed a good clean. It was a very basic food selection compared to all the other hotels breakfast we had had. It’s a bit of a walk to find somewhere to eat in the very high temperatures there. The towels were small and grey and the toiletries consisted of one soap and shampoo. We were glad we were only there for 2 nights. I’m sure there are better places in Foz to stay.
Wonderful hotel with the unique experience of staying with the Parque Nacional de Iguaçu. The building itself is also a piece of history and the facilities are top notch. The staff is very attentive, informative, and friendly with the exception of the registration/check-in desk. Most of the employees at the front the desk acted as if they were being bothered to perform their job which was such a stark contrast from the rest of the hotel staff. We are a younger couple that had been traveling for a week prior to arriving to the Belmond and we saw the difference in the treatment one such employee (Martins) gave to us, as compared to other customers who may be older or appear wealthier.
In fact, we enjoyed the hotel very much regardless and wanted to extend our stay but we were met by ambivalence by Martins and Samuel at the front desk and instead of extending for three more days chose to save the money to stay another property next week.

My wife and I ran into some issues at the border when we tried to cross. Somehow the Argentine visa is much harder to get than we initially thought. So we were stuck on the Brazil side - after seeing the awesome Iguazu falls. We looked up some quick hotels in the area so we can camp out until the visa came through (which never did btw) and found this gem of a place. Literally a 10 minute walk from a pretty sizable indoor mall. Front desk staff were very accommodating- and helped us navigate our stressful scenario fantastically. Claudia and Jacir went well above the normal expectations And in our view are the gold standard of hotel staff. The whole place was elegant. The food delicious. The wait staff very attentive to our needs. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Iguazu area. They really made our last few days in Brazil enjoyable -even though it was an unexpected stop - we don’t regret a minute of it.

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location with access to the city and having the mall in front of the hotel also super useful. The pool is a good size and decor tasteful. The fitness room could be better equipped, but still workable. Staff attentive and breakfast ample and varied. I recommend it.
The hotel has a house structure, which is far from the reception, restaurant and main pool, and offers cars to take and bring guests, but this service is inefficient. We often wait more than 15 minutes, on footwear away from the room, in the hot sun, with a 2-year-old child, and we were forgotten twice.
The hotel restaurant is good, but does not include the maximum lotion of hosting, so, depending on the lotion, it is impossible to sit at the peak time, which is incompatible with a 4-star hotel, seems a bandijan.
As an extremely picky traveler, I was very satisfied with Las Hotel and exceeded expectations. The hotel is extremely cost-effective and the quality of facilities and services far exceeds the price I paid. The location of the hotel is very convenient, closer to the surrounding tourist attractions than in the park, more convenient, especially suitable for tourists who want to explore more local activities. At the same time, the environment here is very quiet, there are fewer guests, giving people a quiet holiday atmosphere, very suitable for relaxation.
What impressed me most was the staff. They were extremely friendly and welcoming and ready to help you, adding a lot of warmth to the whole stay experience. The hotel's maintenance is also in place, the rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, the garden and swimming pool in the public areas are very beautiful, and it is a great place to relax.
Overall, Las Hotel is arguably one of my most satisfying hotel choices of the year. If you are looking for a hotel away from the hustle and bustle, good service and great value for money, I highly recommend Las Hotel. Everything here makes my trip even more perfect!
Worth having a name! Best trip to Brazil!
The hotel is not new, but the location is very convenient, there is a taxi site opposite, it is convenient to go anywhere, and it is all playing the table, very conscience, around eating places, small supermarkets; The room was cleaned very clean, it was rare in South America, and the bed in the standard room was larger than the domestic one. It was comfortable to sleep. The only thing was that the sound insulation was not very good. Someone in the corridor could hear it. Fortunately, I was used to bringing noise reduction earplugs, so the impact was not big. The service staff are also very skilled, and can reply in time if you need anything, Portuguese and Spanish can be, so overall it is quite satisfactory.

EElena TWe stayed in Eco Cataratas for two nights and had opportunity to spend both evenings at their bar Piquiri. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Junior was our waiter and we were very impressed with the attention that he provided to our family. Definitely will be back and hoping to have him as our server again. Thank you Junior!
SSue WWe stayed here as part of a tour group so had no choice in accommodation. It was very good in parts but not so good in others. As stated previously, it is in the middle of nowhere but not in scenic surroundings. It is more an industrial area. However, the restaurant was excellent and well priced so there was no need to leave the hotel to eat. The breakfast was good but did not match up to the quality at dinner. The only negative as far as the restaurant went was that it is very large and noisy but the food could not be faulted. The rooms are large but quite basic but as we were only there for 2 nights it did not matter too much. There is a large supermarket across the road so we could stock up on water etc. I would not recommend the hotel for a couples stay. It is obviously geared to tours and families even more so. The pool area was very busy with activities and played extremely loud music. We were out on tours most of the day so not affected but would not have liked to spend any time around the pool. Fellow travelers that did a shorter tour said their afternoon was spoilt by the noise.
AAnonjaymousUpon arriving at the hotel at 11 am after a full night of travel, I was asked to stay and wait until 2 pm or until a room opened up. I then requested an upgrade, hoping a higher level room would open up sooner. As a Wyndham Diamond member, not only did they not recognize my status or any membership with them at all, they also tried to charge me for the upgrade and did not allow any early check-in. It was only after mentioning that I was Diamond and showing them on the app that Diamond members can get free upgrades that they allowed me to be upgraded and check-in early. While I'm happy with the result, I've never had any other hotel neglect to acknowledge my status, especially if it's that respective brand's top-tier status. I've also never had to remind the hotel itself of their own membership benefits policy. To me, it seems almost embarrassing that they did not know how to treat their Diamond members. Other Wyndhams I've stayed at were happy to upgrade me, oftentimes without me even requesting it. For the stay itself, the suite was nice and very large. Two queen beds with a small seating area. TV was positioned a bit oddly, but still watchable. I liked that they had a microwave, kettle, and fridge, but the fridge was stocked full of drinks that they laughably did not know or have the prices for. There was also a vent in the room that was making odd noises and allowing warm air inside. The room did have a nice view, though, and the location was not bad. Finally, breakfast was actually quite good, with decent variety and hot food options. Check-out was a breeze and very quick, thanks to me not consuming any minibar drinks.
GGuest Usertook the public bus from Foz airport to within 300 yards of hotel which is off the beaten track in an exceptionally hilly town so selecting the stop at the top of the hill is pretty important! friendly welcome at reception on arrival, efficient check in with all important info explained carefully. large comfy clean room with fridge and efficient A/C. breakfast included was pretty good with toaster to make cheese & ham toastie. nice pool with plenty of bed chairs (although only 59F so not used). buffet dinner with a la carte choices ok but unexciting. recommended Ten minutes walk (uphill) to public bus for Argentina or Paraguay (stops OUTSIDE bus Terminal) or falls (stop inside)
GGuest UserThis hotel has a good location and a friendly staff. But it is dilapidated and need of a remodel badly. The rooms are old and the furniture is breaking down. The windows allow mosquitoes to come in the room from the outside. I killed at least twenty with my own hands. I literally sprayed the room and myself with mosquito repellant before I went to sleep. The worst is that I ordered room service and had breakfast at the hotel and immediately got Traveler's Diarrhea. After 7 days I flew home and was treated with antibiotics. I'm still recovering and needless to say it ruined my very expensive vacation. I don't know whether there is a health department or a similar institution there but the hotel should be shut down and all systems need to be revamped before anyone else gets sick!
This is the second time my wife and I stay at this wonderful hotel Cataratas. It is always a very nice relaxing experience; we consider it one of the best hotels in the world, and we do travel quite a bit. Get a room, where you can wake up with an undisturbed view of the famous Iguazu Falls - on of the worlds Seven Natural Wonders. Open the windows and you can hear the soothing sound of millions of gallons of water per second crashing down in the river Iguazu that divides Brasil and Argentina. This hotel is the only hotel inside the park. The park opens to the public at 9:00 AM, which gives you time to visit the falls up close, before busloads of tourists arrive. The staff is well trained, pleasant and always willing to answer any question and with a smile The rooms are bright and clean, and the restaurant have first class food. No private cars are allowed inside the park; there is ample parking outside the gate, and busses bring you the abt. 15 miles from the entrance to the first view point, which is also the stop for the hotel.
LLucas MExcellent hotel in Foz do Iguaçu! Special thanks to the attendant Alisson who helped us with numerous tips and made our experience in the city much better. He gave tips of locations, programming, security, attractions timetables among others.
