We booked this hotel by mistake but it turned out to be a nice place to stay. The owner was very understanding and let us check in late and in the next morning was very helpful with all information we needed. Big and very cleaned room.

Clean and spacious apartment. Interesting the kitchen is together with sleeping area. Food smell actually hard to ventilate out. Kitchen amenities slightly worn out but still can be used. Our poor luck as the clothes dryer in the laundry room is faulty. We dropped coins for twice and still damp, so no choice we packed up in car and travel on. Own car pouch Infront of apartment. Contactless arrangement for check in. Love the quick response from host. This is certainly the best Accom to stay in if you drop by for Fox Glacier Hike.

The service staff is very enthusiastic and will tell you the nearby tourist information and weather conditions. The hotel is on the Fox Glacier Road. Go to Lake Mathisen and the glacier viewing point on the right hand side of the door. Just drive straight and follow the road signs. No navigation is required. In short, it is cost-effective and very satisfactory.

The room is spacious, it's basically a country hotel. The view was picturesque the next morning. The room was not soundproof. The two young people next door made a fuss all night. The room was too loud and affected my sleep.

Friends who want to take a helicopter to see the glacier must stay here. Although the motel may be a little old in terms of facilities, it is only 5 minutes away from the Mount Cook helicopter take-off platform and 2 minutes drive from the helicopter check-in office. If you are forced to cancel due to weather reasons, you can contact the check-in center at any time to see if there are conditions for take-off. In addition, if you can't fly, it will be boring to just sit there in the hotel. There are lake attractions and tropical rainforest hiking routes to play on the road west from the hotel. There is also a viewing platform for watching the glacier, which can be reached in about 5-10 minutes by car. The only thing you need to pay attention to is that one hotel in Cook Town only serves breakfast, one only serves lunch and dinner, and one only serves dinner and closes at 8 o'clock and requires reservations

The room is a bit too old. The sofa and mattress collapsed. There may be some problem with the hot water. After I took a shower, my friend got cold when he tried to use it again. He barely managed to wash away the foam and escaped. . There was still hot water at the sink faucet, but it was too late and I didn't ask what was going on. There was no air conditioning, but there was a heater in the closet that could be used. It often rains in that area. Once it rains, don't even think about glacier activity. Even the mountains can only be seen in outline. Pay attention to the season when you go. It is not recommended to go in the rainy season.
