"The hotel is not new, but it is clean. There is a special parking garage next to the hotel, which is very safe. The parking fee seems to be 20 US dollars. The breakfast is richer than that of ordinary hotels. It is very quiet to sleep at night"
"My daughter and I were traveling for a gymnastics competition. We were pleased with the location's proximity to the Fort Worth Convention Center and dining options. The room and hotel were pretty clean overall.
However, these are the weird things that ruined our stay:
- The bathroom door knob was missing. I know it sounds weird, but there was no knob--just a big hole in the door where one should be.
- The heat in our room did not work. We were cold and had it set to 80, but it only blew cold air.
- Upon arrival at breakfast (included with our specific booking) no one acknowledged us or greeted us. We waited for a while and then I tracked down a worker putting out food to ask if we seat ourselves or if someone seats us. She did not reply to me (language barrier), but got someone to tell us we could just seat ourselves. It was confusing and unwelcoming. I witnessed other patrons enter after me and share the same confusion and have to ask as well. A simple greeting, welcome, or explanation could go a LONG way.
I am not typically a complainer, so the issues above would've normally been mentioned at checkout for resolution before the next time they put someone in the room. It wasn't worth the hassle of moving to a different room.
- (This was the biggie.) We had a family enter our room because they were given keys and assigned OUR room at check in. We had not checked out, and now our keys would no longer work. The family returned to the desk and were assigned a different room. When I asked about this mix up at the desk, they told me they ”didn't know how that had happened” like I was somehow making it up. They reprogrammed our key cards and assured us that no one else would bother us during the remainder of our stay.
- They charged me for one night of parking instead of two, and charged me for breakfast although it was included with my booking. These charges were resolved and an apology was extended for the inconveniences of the stay.
I would not stay at this hotel again, and will choose differently when traveling there next year. It was a hassle and a disappointment."
"Unfortunately we would have loved our stay near sun dance square but I had a thousand dollars on my card and this hotel instead of taking 174 for the room took 450 plus 380 plus the room charge of 174 be careful handing a card over for so called incidentals"
"Little had to find, tucked away, but not so bad once you've done it once. Otherwise pretty average Springhill Suites with the usual (noisy) wall HVAC, and tiny bathroom area. Comfortable bed. Seemed like it may have been fairly recently renovated (except the elevators which run like molasses!)...."
"I had a great stay at the TownePlace we were there for 3 days, for a business trip, Megan the receptionist was fenaminal, she let us check in 2 hours early prior to checking time, because we got there early. She greet us by our name the whole time we we were there. Breakfast was ok, our room was super clean l will definitely stay again next time we are in the area."

Very Good
BBen WadeThis is really a gym of a hotel that strikes the balance between affordability and luxury and a great location. The bed and bedding is to die for.
GGuest UserThis hotel was exceptionally clean, as I’m sure most of it has to do with the fact that it relatively brand new. And the staff was cleaning continuously. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable! The bed and the pillows were the most comfy I’ve ever slept in and the room gets super dark when you pull the shades, even in the middle of the day. Our room had just a shower, it would’ve been nice to have a shower tub combo, but all in all I will give this room and hotel five stars! The location is ideal for shopping and restaurants close by. And also, it’s on the outskirts of Ft. Worth, so traffic isn’t too terrible getting around. Breakfast was good and had a decent selection, waffles, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, muffins, juice, and coffee. Negative: Pool was freezing! I thought for an indoor pool it would be heated…
GGuest UserThis is a great property, really good condition for a 100+ year old building. Great care taken to maintain the old feel of the historic stockyards. Staff was very friendly, and the restaurant and bar was great. I highly recommend.
GGuest UserWhile for the first time ever we stepped into the lobby of the Staybridge we were amazed with how nice and well decorated this hotel was and after checking into our room we never realized that our nightmare would just begin. Our room key would not open any of the ext. doors for outside entry so we asked the clerk what was wrong and she said there was a problem with the door so she would have maintenance check it out and in the meantime she issued us a temp. key card that worked but it expired that evening and no longer worked and once again we got locked out while holding bags of groceries and merchandise from Walmart and we had to walk all the way around the bldg. carrying our stuff to come in thru the front entrance. Then, when I used the DOVE hand and face cream in the bathroom to apply to my body it had a horrible odor of being rancid and had to immediately wash it off. Angry, we decided to leave your hotel and spend the next 3 days at the Best-Western hotel next door, whereas we had no problems, issues or uncomfortable issues. Sadly, this was our very FIRST EVER stay at the Stay bridge Suites and most likely our last!
GGuest UserThe valet and greeters were friendly and welcoming. Our Jr. suite was very nice and clean. Pleasantly surprised that there were two tv sets, one in the living area and a secondary one in the bedroom. The indoor swimming pool area is small, but I'm not traveling with children, and it was nice that I can float. Jacuzzi was hot to my taste, yet not hot enough for my husband. The Jacuzzi did not have a strong jet stream. Unfortunately, the women's restroom is missing a sink. Breakfast was great! Fresh hot pancakes and eggs made to order. Overall, I would give it a score of 4.8. Sad that the patio area was not available to the public. Because of the location, service, and now knowing that the place is available for events, I know I will be promoting this location for my high school reunion.

Very Good
GGuest UserStayed here for move in day at TCU. The price point and proximity to campus was nice. Room felt a little run down with chipped up baseboards and a ripped lampshade, things like that. The walk in shower was roomy and water pressure was good, though there's no door to the shower, just a half glass wall. No maid service (stayed 2 nights). Second night the air conditioner started making a loud, consistent machine noise in the wall, which made it hard to sleep. Wasn't the cleanest room ever upon check in, nor was it the worst I've seen
GGuest UserThe employees were very courteous and friendly. I was dismayed when I had to valet my car at a rate of $30/night, which I was not informed of prior to arrival. I felt I should mention so that others will know what to expect. The location is right at the convention center, which is approximately 3 miles via car ride from the Stockyards. The room was clean, as was the hotel. I felt completely safe staying there and was satisfied with my stay overall.

AAnonymous UserThis time I went abroad to play, the experience in [Hotel Name] was perfect. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the doorman enthusiastically helped carry the luggage, the reception staff smiled, the check-in was efficient and intimate, and patiently recommended local attractions.
The room layout is very local and modern and comfortable. The beds are soft and the view from the window is pleasant. The bathroom is clean and tidy, the spare parts are well-known brands and the aroma is pleasant.
The hotel's dining is amazing. The restaurant offers a wealth of local cuisine, fresh ingredients and authentic cooking. The service staff is always concerned about the needs and responds promptly.
Convenient transportation around the hotel, close to subway stations and attractions. Staying here, not only enjoyed comfortable accommodation, but also experienced the local customs in depth. Next time I come to this city, I will definitely choose to stay!
KKaye555It's quiet and peaceful. The general area isn't the greatest but i didn't feel unsafe at any time so....
The management, you can tell they don't put up with crap at their hotel. It's close to stores and food. I've never had a bad experience at this hotel.
