Really perfect location, even if you don't go to Ben Nevis there looks to be so much to do and explore around here in terms of walking/biiking/running trails and the ski lift which takes people up to the Nevis range. All of the front desk staff we spoke to were very friendly and pleasant but there wasnt much we needed help with. I think the room and the hotel itself could do with having some more facilities/amenities due to the premium price we had to pay but apart from that everything that is there was satisfactory but bare minimum. The cafe breakfast food was nice but the staff there were a little cold, that was the only real down point. Overall it was a pleasant stay, it was easy to get here by taxi and easy to get to the Ben Nevis visitor centre by taxi but make sure you book ahead and go early.

The hotel room area is ok, located in Ben Nevis in the middle of the mountain, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, like nature or hiking is really great, because there are hiking trails, if you like off-road cycling, here there is a cable car can go straight to the top of the track.

What is clear is that the hotel completely lacks charm. The doors to the corridor are very poorly soundproofed. The windows are small and overlook the roof of a hangar. The view is therefore partial. The reception people are not welcoming at all. We arrived early, and the clerks didn't even want to see if the room was ready. no breakfast in the hotel or dinner ; you have to go to next door The mattresses are too soft, the Ikea pillows are terrible. and the sink in the bathroom is in fact a small hand basin in a toilet. Ski resort hotel with linoleum flooring in bathroom It certainly doesn't deserve the price of over 200 pounds. It’s a barely improved Formula 1… And finally, sleeping next to a huge parking lot has no charm.

Great last minute trip to this hotel. Booked online, didn't know what to expect. travelled 2 adults, 6 year old and 9 year old. Family unit booked- immaculate hotel, great fun for kids and 4 bunk beds and double in each family unit, so great if you have 3 or 4 kids. Pub and restaurant in the evening onsite was lovely, breakfast was also great. What stuck out most at this place was the staff and cleanliness. The staff were so friendly, and went out of their way to chat, get to know you and make you feel so welcome. The rooms were simply immaculate (im very fussy!!) we stayed one night in the family unit then another in a double room with camp beds for the kids. Both were so clean and in great condition. In the cafe the staff were not only keeping the tables clean but washing the seats, legs and table legs. The whole place oozed great staff and everything follows. We also ate up at the top restaurant after having a fun trip on the gondola - it was very wet and windy up at the top, no view at all - we had the right gear. (Some people in shorts, t.shirts and flip flops??!!) Depite looking like we had been in a pressure washer, it was all made better once again by the happy and cheery staff. Only negative is a drying room would just make it perfect. There must be a lot of muddy dirty people staying there and drying everything in a small hotel room is pretty tricky, not to mention the dampness in these lovely rooms. But thats just a thought. Thank you to all the staff for your lovely care and attention to everything!! We will be back as soon as possible.

Very bad experience. We spent two nights: room stated as superior category but not aligned with this. Lack of shelves to store dresses and bags, third bad for the kid not usable. Breakfast poor and not in the same building but in a bar closed to the structure (with limited choice). And at the end, when we returned for the second night we found the room not cleaned, with the bed not done and light not working. And when asked for help no support received from the Hotel: we spoke with reception and manager the day after without receiving any satisfying feedback. Really I wouldn’t never return here.

When we arrived we were told that the lift was not working so we had to walk up the, admittedly only one, floor - but we did have a large suitcase. The room was a reasonable size and clean, somewhere to put a suitcase other than on the floor would have been useful. I didn’t particularly like the “industrial” table and hanging space, but that is a preference not an issue. The sink is not big enough to put the kettle under and fill up, a small point but frustrating. There is only 1 place to eat without going into Fort William, and while the food was OK the menu choice is limited and expensive. There is a nice walk that you can take from the hotel which we did after dinner.

We booked a family room for 2 nights. Room wasn't ready when we checked in at 3pm. Room did not look like any of the website photos as it seems there are no photos of the family rooms on the website. The room was very basic - only 2 coat hangers for 6 beds. Double bed against wall is not a comfortable option as you have to climb over partner to get in and out of bed. No chairs or anywhere to sit. TV doesn't have signal and there's nowhere to sit and watch it from anyway. Very slow wi-fi, so almost impossible to cast to TV. The emergency exit light on the ceiling was taped up. The kettle is not big enough for more than 2 people at a time, and it doesn't fit into the tiny sink to fill. View of car park - not the mountain or forest view as advertised. All in all the room was adequate for our stay but hugely over priced for what it was. The Nevis Range Bar was disappointing too, mainly because they weren't serving the full menu but you aren't made aware of that when you book. The toilets in the main facility needed cleaning, no loo roll or soap. It seemed that they had't been attended to the whole weekend we were there.

Booked this hotel as we were working covering an event at the Nevis Range and this hotel suited us perfectly. The hotel is warm with cosy and comfortable rooms and equipped with everything you need. I must say a big THANK YOU to hotel manager Louisa who couldn't do enough for us after my colleague had an accident the night before. Can't wait to return 😊

Wasnt sure what to expect as this place seemed a little isolated but was pleasantly suprised as it wasnt far outsite Fort William. I was there for 3 weeks on buisness and this was the ideal place. Great rooms, very comfy and clean. Staff were amazing and couldnt help enough. The idea of streaming TV channels off your mirror cast was good as well with good wifi. I had a moutain view room and would highly recommend this as it blew me away. All in all a very good experiance and this is high praise as I stay all over the country in hotels, this certainly was up there with the best

Not a great place to stay I’m afraid, extremely overpriced for what you get. I would rather save my money and stay at the premier inn where you at least get good customer services and an extremely comfortable bed and pillows to sleep on. The family room looks so much better in the picture they use to advertise it. There is no head board so all night my pillows kept moving to the edge of the bed and I felt like I was about to fall off. The hotel is not sound proof and therefore you can hear all the noise from other rooms and the corridor. You can hear when the room next door step in and out of the shower. When I complained about the noise, the customer service was atrocious, they stood and laughed completely clueless. It’s definitely overpriced. I actually felt like I was sleeping in a prison cell because it’s decorated like one. Not cosy or comfortable at all. The heater says do not cover yet half the bed covers it. An accident waiting to happen. You cannot sit and watch the TV from your bed as it is in such a silly place. Unless you want to stand and watch tv it’s pretty pointless. Parking is free if you are staying at the hotel. WiFi works ok and is free too. You get delicious complementary shortbread biscuits.
