I booked a room on the 2nd floor on Trip, but when I arrived, I was told that all the rooms on the 2nd floor were fully booked. I was a little disappointed at the time (because the 1st floor would be noisier, and we were indeed a little affected by the footsteps upstairs and the sounds outside). But the staff at the counter was very kind and invited us to drink beer. We were going to the Grand Canyon early the next morning, but the counter was not open yet and there was no self-service check-out, so we had to leave the room card in the room and leave a message asking the housekeeping staff to assist with check-out.
