We chose the hotel because we were going to a concert nearby. Unfortunately, we were misled by the pictures and the reviews. It's an old property with a large park. On closer inspection, everything is a bit unkempt. The reception was impersonal and ultimately just instructions about various keys. Parking is at the hotel and free of charge. The breakfast is so-so if you don't like cake. The lady from the service was not to be seen at first; she had to sweep up the rubbish from a child's birthday party in the park. The room was attractive, but I don't understand a minibar to be anything other than 2 Cokes and a water. Also, the fridge was next to the cupboard. The reality doesn't live up to the expectations there.

A beautiful house surrounded by greenery. About 15 minutes from the center of Ferrara. Very large and comfortable rooms (a little advice to those who manage the building ... They assigned us a very nice room with a mezzanine on which there was the possibility of choosing between two double beds; unfortunately I chose the one with a sprung base that made it difficult to sleep at night. As I was saying, however, the structure is very nice and clean, expertly renovated and furnished by a capable architect. Located a few meters from the city center, immersed in a green area that makes this structure an oasis of relaxation. The winter garden where breakfast is served is beautiful. Very kind and helpful staff.

Room invaded by bedbugs!!! The ones you see in the photos are just a part of those I found during the night. And even worse was the customer management! “We apologize but this is unfortunately a period” This was the response I received the following morning when I highlighted the problem. I have never expressed myself with judgments through this site until now, but I decide to do so in honor of a truly beautiful and strategic place to visit Ferrara. The villa is surrounded by greenery and yet very close to the city center. It is a shame that so much potential of the place and the structure (even with some architectural inconsistencies), is completely ruined by a completely insufficient management and, above all, inadequate to the daily cost. Apart from the care of two kind Slavic ladies who do their best to serve a breakfast in itself not up to the vaunted tone of the house, the service is overall shameful. The room service is terrible, as regards the cleaning of the bathroom, supply and change of linen. The water supply (thin as one might expect and admit on a remote island but not in Ferrara) discourages the use of the shower which has also never been touched by the cleaning service. Having reported this water shortage, given our stay of a few days, I was told that in the past, as if it were a justification, there had been a report of a disservice... and such it remained. The sconce next to the bed flaunted an antique spiderweb on which the dust of time evoked a velvet trimming, very evident by simply turning on the lamp. The garden, beautiful, poorly cared for even on the occasion of an important event. I conclude by urging the property to provide...

Si tratta di una bellissima villa, immersa in un parco grande e affascinante. La villa è ristrutturata benissimo, negli spazi comuni e anche nella nostra stanza bellissimi bronzi di uno scultore famoso, di cui c'è il catalogo nella reception. Eravamo con il nostro cane, e per questo la signora ci ha assegnato una bella stanza grande, con uscita direttamente sul giardino. Ottima la colazione, gentilissimo il personale, e fantastico il luogo, a 15 minuti dal centro, ma vicina a una bellissima passeggiata sulle mura che porta altresi in centro.

La struttura ha una straordinaria potenzialità. È stata ristrutturata qualche hanno fa con grande cura ed è anche finita su alcune riviste di settore. Poi però il proprietario, che pare viva in Inghilterra, si dev’essere dimenticato di passare a dare un’occhiata. Manca completamente la manutenzione, nella nostra suite pavimenti e pareti in resina erano rovinati in molti punti; il soffione della doccia è rotto e spruzza verso le pareti rendendo ridicola e paradossale la presenza delle luci a led colorate. Sempre nella doccia il porta flaconi originariamente cromato era di un bellissimo color ruggine. Malino anche la colazione con croissant bruciati e una complessiva sensazione di abbandono. Intendiamoci si riesce comunque a passare una buona nottata ma occorrerebbe prendere atto che,allo stato delle cose, non è possibile chiedere 200€ a notte per il servizio offerto.
