TRIBE Baden-Baden

Very chaotic, staff don't know the correct procedures among themselves... despite booking for three days, I was asked to vacate the room several times. They kept making excuses and then I was asked to leave the room again. Asked for my room number 4 times at breakfast by different staff. Bathroom cleanliness satisfactory. Garage reservation a disaster... entry card works... have to pay €25.00 for reserved parking space, which is ultimately occupied and despite having an entry card you have to ring the bell so that the barrier opens. All in all, the stay was poor... finally, in the evening, I had to listen to complaints from several guests at the bar, which ultimately confirmed my experience!

Great location. Clean and modern. Comfortable room although small. A big downside is that the beds are very high, to free up storage I imagine. However, we are not small but it is very unpleasant to climb onto very high beds.

We booked the Tribe because my husband was staying at the rheumatism clinic opposite. Based on the reviews and my contact beforehand, I was skeptical. I wanted to reserve a parking space, but that wasn't possible. Alternatively, there are two other external parking garages right next to the hotel, I think 5 euros cheaper. The ladies we met on arrival, at breakfast and on departure were all super nice and accommodating. The hotel is very stylish and very clean/well-kept (opened 11/23) - it remains to be seen how this will hold up over the years. There are Kevin Murphy care products throughout the hotel :-) The rooms are big enough and clean for an overnight stay. A Nespresso machine, kettle and a small bottle of water are available free of charge. Breakfast is absolutely OK for 18 euros per person. Simple snacks (freezer) are offered - it's better to walk 5 minutes to the old town. e.g. the Amadeus at Leopoldsplatz, they have an amazingly wide-ranging menu at fair prices. All in all, the Tribe has a very good price-performance ratio and is absolutely recommended! I'm going back tomorrow and am excited to see if I'll be as positive when I leave ;-)
