I was really worried after booking because I looked at previous reviews but honestly this hotel was perfectly fine. If you're expecting the Ritz then you will be disappointed, but the price we paid for all inclusive seemed cheap and that's what we expected. If you're the sort of person who wants to stay in the hotel all day then it wouldn't work for you, but if you go out exploring (like we did) you should find it satisfactory. So, drinks - cocktails on the roof were lovely and cheaper than anywhere else, you just need to check timings for when it's open (I didn't see the issue). You don't get loads of alcohol - 3beers/wine each with meals but any other drinks in the day from the pool bar downstairs or inside at night (this seemed fine). The pool bar asks for a euro for the cup and then return it when you bring the cup back, I don't see a problem with this...you get the euro back. Food - I was really worried about this but again, it was fine. It wasn't fine dining but the food was edible. Breakfast I thought was great - mainly continental with meats, cheeses and pastries but also "Full English" style with sausage, bacon, toasts, beans and eggs. There was also cereals and various milks available. I thought there was plenty at breakfast even for vegetarians! Lunch was also adequate - salads, bread, fresh fruit and a few dishes on the buffet. Of all the meals I would say that dinner was the most disappointing. It was salads again which is fine and then a selection of shellfish each night, and then meats, plain pasta which you added sauces to, chips, rice, bread rolls and paella every night. It was basically the same dishes each night and not a large selection for vegetarians ( which is obviously a personal choice) but I think dinner could have been better. The room was clean, beds were super comfy (you get two twins and not a double). It was dated but it's a 3 star hotel so I wasn't expecting more than a nice bed. We were lucky to get a balcony with a nice view. The door handles are a bit dodgy and you have to learn how to turn them to lock the door, but that wasn't an issue. Once locked it's secure. We didn't use the TV so didn't need to rent a remote. We had AC that worked when you fiddled with the thermostat. It turns off if you open the sliding doors, which makes sense! The staff seemed happy to help when asked, smiled if I smiled, I didn't find anyone particularly enjoying their job but also didn't find any staff rude at all! It's a walk down a hill to the beach, which night be an issue for some but we enjoyed walking up and down to the seafront in between meals and excursions. You get your steps in! We didn't use the pool, it is small and usually had people in it but I am not a person who goes abroad to sit by a swimming pool anyway so we weren't bothered. Over all I think the food was fine considering it was included, if we wanted to save money we ate at the hotel and if we wanted a treat we went to a restaurant. There is a pizza pla
