This hotel is looks nice in the lobby, and is clean throughout. Unfortunately we were placed on a side of the hotel which nears construction near by the busy Yellowhead Trail. At night you can hear every semi truck drive by and every emergency vehicle with sirens go by as if you are outside. Windows must be very old and thin. I would highly recommend bring your own earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Beds are creaky and noisy everytime you move as well as heater that turns on every 15-20 minutes which is very loud and annoying. Bathrooms could use an upgrade as their age shows as well as furnishings in the rooms. Doesn’t quite match the title of hotel. Wouldn’t stay here in the future, wasn’t a first good experience.

We stayed here after being bumped from Travelodge Edmonton Airport last-minute due to overbooking. We were very fortunate to find a room, as most hotels were sold-out due to Garth Brooks being in town and since we were attending a wedding we were worried we would have to back-out of it due to this. Luckily that was not the case! The hotel was older but exceptionally clean! The pool and breakfast room were closed due to renovations but we did not care because we would not have used these amenities anyway (we were on a tight schedule). Service was great! Super friendly and professional. We dealt with Mary Jasnoor at check-in and again check-out. She was super sweet and helped us forget the terrible experience we had earlier in the day (see my other review for Travelodge Edmonton Airport) Thank you for a very good stay!

Booked this hotel..for 4 nights.. still here it’s night 2, but seriously going to be looking at other options in the morning for a better stay. I am paying 440$ a night for something that I thought was executive high end.. very disappointed. Plus side, the room is really great, beds and pillows are comfy and it is very clean. Here’s the thing, 440$ a night ? For what? Generally hotels that are in this price range come with: a concierge, a door man or two, room service, a mini bar, room service, turn down service, basic housekeeping service ,a room directory etc.. this hotel comes with no amenities which is just fine but at least lower your rates and don’t tout yourselves to be something you’re not. When I questioned front desk staff it was all blamed on Covid. Cop out at best and I feel sorry for your staff. I work in this industry and am appalled. Quit blaming the pandemic for your shortcomings. Great if you want to cheap out but at least lower your rates and call a spade a spade.

Great 4 night stay! Spacious room (executive suite) and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was OK, there seemed to be a variety of food available. I couldn't eat it because of onions and peppers in the main course (eggs and meat). Internet was very reliable. The staff is great! There are several restaurant options close by. At the moment, there is some street construction that makes getting to the parking lot minimally challenging. There was no noticeable noise impact from this work though.

Great hotel, good breakfast, super clean and they provide housekeeping everyday. The elevators feel like they need to be serviced, rattling and shake. The pool- absolutely disgusting. The Friday night it looked like sludge, Saturday it was closed for a period of time then re opened. The chlorine burned all the kids skin so bad they all had a rash.

Tub is built for small people, bathroom vanity for giants. The tub is pint-sized, about a foot high. I’m five feet tall and just fit. Tried to make the most of what amounted to soaking in a puddle, but couldn’t even do that as the plug wouldn’t hold water. Asked at the front desk right away about a room with an adult sized tub and was told all rooms were the same. Staff acted like they could care less. Bathroom vanity counter was higher than normal, by quite a bit, so even washing my face was a challenge, again, from a five-footer. The bathroom mirror was mounted another foot above that, so I was glad to see a wall mirror by the window which I was able to use for makeup application. The next day tried the shower which wasn’t much better, very low water pressure. I’m guessing this is an older hotel that was somewhat updated. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Air con worked well. I like to be a bit pampered when staying at a hotel, and this was not that. At the very least, a nice soak at the end of the day isn’t too much to ask. Won’t be back. Too much money for a low end hotel.

Excellent
PPepplerGreat hotel, great location, very friendly staff! We stayed here one year ago and loved it so much we came back the next time we came to Edmonton. We loved everything, modern, suites are very well set up. We took advantage of the kitchen! The bathroom is clean and beautiful. My only criticism is the soundproofing could be better.
GGuest UserUnderground heated parking for cars, midsize suvs! Outdoor parking as well. All parking is free. This is a really nice quiet place to stay on the south west side of Edmonton. It is very new. I appreciated the: underground heated parking, the cleanliness, the bed and many pillows. I liked that the breakfast is included and served on the main level. I like that my room has a microwave, small fridge, and Keurig coffee. Complimentary coffee on the lobby level during the day. I like that they have a long bench with coat rack as well as closet. I like the large TV. I like that it is so close to great shopping and restaurants in Windermere community. It’s also right near Anthony Henday freeway. But note: I didn’t know they had underground parking until I read someone else’s review. I had messaged IHG and I was advised there was no underground parking at this location. So I called directly. Yes - there is free heated underground parking! (Not for large trucks though). Underground parking is SO important in a winter city! I highly recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserRoom was nice and clean. Breakfast had good selections. Staff was okay. However there was a guy taking the same elevator looking suspicious he did not tap his room key just let us do. He said he was struggling to get his room key and tried to search in his pants pocket but hands out with nothing. He came out the elevator on the same floor. We headed to different direction but when we were entering our room and looked to him, he turned around and walked back towards our direction. We went in the room right away closed and locked the door. Hotel can definitely do better regarding safety.
GGuest UserI was delighted beyond belief with everything that Tru Hilton had to offer! It is unlike any hotel experience that I have ever had! Incredible decor, magnificent bed with the softest sheets, gigantic TV, gorgeous bathroom with novel soap & shampoo dispensers, lovely breakfast, attentive staff & spacious quiet rooms. Not cost prohibitive as one might expect from the Hilton Brand. The only odd thing was that they will charge money if towels, bedding or the mattress is stained or damaged! This is above & beyond the damage deposit! Otherwise, I will gladly stay here again & recommend it to anyone else staying a little outside of downtown Edmonton!
GGuest UserExcellent service during our stay! Room according to the description, comfortable mattresses, everything was clean. Breakfast included and varied ( hot meal) with a very sympathetic and especially very careful staff! Parking easy, almost everything. Indeed, difficult to have better at this price!
RRossChristineI have stayed at this hotel twice now while visiting my Mom and it has been very clean, the staff are super nice and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was simple, not the best but it was fine. It had toast, waffles, cereal, hard bed eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and a couple of hot items that I did not eat. I like the fact that I can go for a swim in their pool which was very clean or walk over to Denny's for a bite to eat and get 15% off.
GGuest UserExcellent logistics provided during our event held at this hotel. We recomend this hotel for the organisation of any business meeting. We have been treated with professionalism by the staff of this hotel. If you need a venue in Edmonton, this is the place to go. AITnet.ca
过过The location of the hotel is not bad, the room is relatively large, each bed in the twin room is 1.5 meters, and parking is free. If it is not enough, it should be that the hotel is relatively old. Fortunately, the rooms are clean. In addition, North American hotels generally do not provide slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Nothing else is lacking, overall satisfaction.
