We booked this hotel mainly for its proximity to the station. We were able to wheel our suitcases from the station to this hotel across the street. (be careful for asking directions as there are two Kyriads and we were initially sent to the wrong one). For a no frills station hotel: The rooms were actually bigger than expected, and were clean and quiet, the breakfast was pretty good, the reception was initially a little spicy but then very helpful, with good recommendations. All in all an enjoyable stay. Dijon was lovely.

Booked here for 3 nights. I'm disabled so asked for a room close to reception when booking and they confirmed they put me in a room close to reception. The Satnav took me to the wrong location but I found it in the end and parked in the disabled bay. Check in was easy, paid local tax of I think £3.72 and my room was the first one from reception which was perfect. Rooms looked old but he been renovated and was clean. Bathroom and shower ok and bed was comfy. WiFi was strong and free with no password required. Restaurant was busy so definitely book in advance but they did fit me in on the first night. Food was very good. Menu abit small maybe 5 mains but I dined twice there and had entrecote steak with chimichuro sauce and a separate bowl of salad and chips. Steak with nice and the sauce was good. I also had three local cheeses for dessert and they were great. I also had a small beer and a small red wine and the bill came to €45 which wasn't bad. The second time I had salmon lasagna which was actually very tasty. I think that was €16.50. John in reception was helpful as well as all the restaurant staff. My only niggle was they use paper cups for making hot drinks in your room instead of a proper cup. Besides that I didn't try the pool but it looked clean and tidy. It was busy when I stayed as their was a coach tour booked in. Would stay again.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel
