Very nice hotel, warm and thoughtful service staff, rich breakfast buffet, tea is very good.
The balcony and courtyard of the room are first class and the scenery is picturesque.
I'm a little sorry that there's no sink in the toilet room in my room.

It's an absolutely beautiful hotel in a gorgeous city. The room was clean, comfortable, well equipped etc. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. But.... it's one of those hotels where they've not sorted the door closers so every door slams loudly. There's a galley kitchen in the room, but the passive-aggressive instructions say if you use it you have to clean it and remove your own waste, or pay extra to have that done for you. I'd also challenge their claim of soundproofed rooms. The somewhat amorous couple in the next room appeared intent on proving they weren't soundproofed... Breakfast was good, once we realised there were two rooms - one with a much better selection than the first we'd entered. The breakfast staff clearly didn't want to be there and a cheery bonjour just received a scowl. This place could so easily be a 5 with a few tweaks.

Venus pour un événement sportif avec mon école, nous sommes logés dans cet hôtel. Au retour du repas, nous empruntons l'ascenseur, notre chambre étant au 5e étage. À l'intérieur de l'ascenseur, un panneau mentionnant 8 personnes et 630 kg est affiché. Étant nombreux, nous montons à 8 dans l'ascenseur pour éviter de faire attendre le reste du groupe. Pour information, nous avons même calculé notre poids, de 550 kg. Arrivé entre le 4ème et le 5ème, l'ascenseur se bloque. Jusque-là, cela peut arriver. Au sein des 8, 2 personnes sont extrêmement claustrophobes et commencent à faire une crise d'angoisse. Nous prévenons alors la personne de l'accueil qui répond de manière assez désagréable en nous laissant entendre que c'est de notre faute. Malgré cela, elle nous informe qu'elle prévient le technicien. Au bout de 45 min sans aucune information, le technicien arrive. Ses premiers mots : ”A bah bravo, vous être fier de vous ?”. S'en suit, plusieurs réflexions sur le fait que nous sommes ”bêtes”, ”irréfléchies, d'être montés à 8 dans l'ascenseur”. Au bout de 15 minutes de réflexion de ce genre, alors que des gens sont en pleurs, nous finissons par sortir de l'ascenseur. À la suite, la personne de l'accueil continue de nous remettre à notre place en nous disant que nous ne devions pas monter à plus de 3 dans l'ascenseur ! Pourquoi et comment nous aurions pu le savoir, car l'information n'est mentionnée nulle part, c'est une bonne question. Par la suite, elle ajoute que nous manquons de réflexion que si ce sont 8 personnes, ce sont seulement 8 personnes de 50 kg. Mais alors pourquoi y a-t-il un poids affiché ??? Elle nous avoue que le problème est récurent, mais visiblement l'hôtel préfère qu'on monte à 3 plutôt que de réparer l'ascenseur. C'est un manque de service surtout pour un hôtel où il y a 6 étages. De plus dénigrer la clientèle en les rabaissant et de ne même pas s'excuser pour la gêne occasionnée est INADMISSIBLE.

The hotel is very clean and tidy, with kitchen equipment is very convenient, it is very convenient to walk to the city center in more than ten minutes. The only thing is that there is no water in the room. I asked the front desk to pick it up. The result was a hot water full of dust.

Das Hotel verfügt über eine gute Lage zur Autobahn und zum Nahverkehr, um in die Stadt zu fahren. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber zweckdienlich. Im Sommer wird es sehr heiß in den Zimmern, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist. Bei geöffnetem Fenster kann man aber nur schlecht schlafen, da sie umliegenden Klimaanlagen sehr laut sind. Das Frühstück war ein schlecht und der Frühstücksservice noch schlechter.

We spent one night at this hotel on the way to Italy and another night on the way back. The location of the hotel on the outskirts of Dijon was perfect for this. The hotel is positioned by a large shopping centre with plenty of places to eat, although the hotel did also have its own restaurant and bar. The breakfast was not included in our package but was a reasonable price and provided a good selection of food and drink. We had a superior room which provided more space and a large, modern bathroom with a view overlooking the pool in the wellness centre. The room could have been of a high quality but was let down by the standards of cleaning. Everything seemed a bit dusty and there could have been more attention to detail when cleaning and vacuming to bring this up to the standards you would expext from a 4 star hotel. The hotel claimed to offer a pillow menu but when I enquired about better pillows as ours were very lumpy and broken up, I was told that they were the only pillows they had and that all of them were like this. That said, it was a comfortable place to stay and we went back for the way home. It could achieve a 5 star review with a bit more effort though.

The hotel is in a corner, the car can't drive directly to the door, it is not convenient to take luggage, the hotel is relatively new, but it is very young, there are more food next to the hotel...

We checked in yesterday (02 Jan 2024) for 2 nights stay. The hotel seems to be fanciful but breakfast is priced very expensively at 21€. We wanted to try this new concept of the Accor group anyway so why not? The room was in general clean but to my horror, upon lifting up the toilet bowl cover, I was greeted with a toilet bowl full of yellowish piss that had not been flushed away. That meant that the toilet was never ever cleaned before releasing for next guest.. or the housekeeping took a convenient piss before leaving and forgetting to flush. Anyway, it could be a genuine mistake so let's not make a fuss at this moment. But I was disappointed to see that there was hardly any amenities in the room. No tea or coffee bags with water boiler. There was only a packet of drinking water in the minibar. It turned out that the water was not even replenished the next day. What was funny: there is a sticker on the minibar door that indicates vending machine available on ground floor. But it could not be found. When we asked the receptionist, we were told that the vending machine is still yet to be installed ??!?!? And suggested to us to go to their restaurant bar to order water or drinks instead. No way ! I am not going to pay for pricey drinking water or tea from their restaurant. Not mentioning that the service charge we will have to pay for getting drinking water there. For a hotel at this tariff, I expected at least to have the basic water, teabags and coffee bags available and replenished! At least most of the basic hotels in France offer this. Some hotels would even offered a coffee machine with capsules. It makes us started to look around the room with a more critical eye. Indeed not only drinking water and basic beverages are not offered. There was only a small bar of handsoap and a miserable piece of body soap placed in the shower to be shared by two occupants of the room. Not only that, the next day after housekeeping, the body soap was not replenished at all. We came back into the room to see the previous bar of soap lying there miserably. This is not what we expected from an Accor hotel which is usually a brand we feel confident in. Mama Shelter tries to be hip and fanciful in their loud decor but in real fact is lacking in hospitality by trying their best to save up whatever they can from the basic necessities (soap, drinking water...) Definitely I will not ever stay in this chain ever again. I sincerely hope Accor group will review and see if it fits their usual standards, because I surely don't think so.

GGuest UserWhen looking for a hotel with EV charging, it is pretty much pot luck isn’t it? Both Booking.com and TA can’t tell us the type of charger - fast, slow, Tesla etc. I urge these agencies to take their travellers into the 21 century and provide these filters. This hotel surprised the life out of me. Not only were there a bank of fast chargers in the garage, but the premium for usage was very reasonable. Only problem, as always, was a Belgium Q8 parked in charging bay with a thundering V8 diesel engine - when can we educate these people? Charging for my I-Pace was a doddle. The rooms are well appointed and have all that you could want and the bar is well stocked and staff are multi-lingual. We eat out in a favourite restaurant and will most certainly put this on our itinerary for our regular Provence trips.

Restaurant staff were a little over worked in the evening, so could of done with another set of hands. Fantastic food and breakfast. Room was generous in size, but just a little tired and needed a revamp. Cannot fault the cleanliness of the room, though bed was a little harder than I’m used to. Courtyards were lovely, though a little unkempt. Great location being only a couple of minutes walk from the main square, with lots of nice bars, historical buildings and plenty of shops, should you to buy anything. Secure car park right opposite the entrance to the hotel for overnight parking.

The Wilson is located quite close to the ancient city and the shopping area of Dijon. The house itself is a lovely location to stay at with its very own atmosphere. The rooms are very nice, the bed was fantastic and the breakfast in the morning leaves out nothing that could have been missed.

GGuest UserThis little hotel is very nice. The reception staff was very helpful, the room was comfortable, the bed was great, the bathroom very clean. All in all, a very nice place to stay. The little city map available at the front desk was very helpful. I spent a wonderful day in Dijon, discovering it museums, great food, and gorgeous architecture. What a beautiful city, with all these great spots within walking distance to the hotel.

Similar to a previous reviewer I’m having to sleep in the car as the hotel could not give me the room I reserved. After driving 12 hours I arrived with two children to the hotel at 10pm to be told the 3 single bed room I booked on HRS and was confirmed as booked is not available and only a double bed is available. I could have booked a two bed for much cheaper elsewhere but paid a premium for the three beds. As I could not find anywhere else to book at 10pm I had to give the room to my children and sleep in the car. Thomas on reception was no help, he gave no ideas to resolve and was quite rude. I mentioned he could call head office or a manager, or move a mattress into the room, or find another hotel to transfer me to, or give me two rooms for price of one. He refused to even consider any of these options, saying it was too late to call anyone or do anything (I think he was going home at 11pm) and he had no authority to do anything (but also said he was the manager) I had paid 85euros+tax for the room. His only offer was another room for 100euros! More expensive than the one I had already booked! He even offered 10% off to take it to 90 which I took as him making a joke. Avoid this hotel, they seem to have a broken booking system and no customer service. Car park was locked on arrival and had to wait for another guest to use their code to let me in. At least it was secure to sleep in the car for the night. A complaint to Louvre Hotels has resulted in them shifting the blame to HRS but this doesn’t resolve the rude service and no help to solve the problem on the night leaving a family to work out how to sleep in a car.

GGuest UserI booked Kyriad Dijon - Gare on Booking.com. I asked for a cot for my baby to be added in the bedroom and they added 10 euros per day, which I found strange and never happened to me in any other hotels. The reservation was confirmed, but after 2 weeks I received a message about updating my card details on the website, which I did immediately. Booking.com confirmed that the update of the details was fine, nevertheless after 10 minutes I received an email saying that Kyriad canceled my reservation since my card was invalid. I double-checked my card with Booking.com and my bank, everything fine, thus I called the hotel to understand the situation. The person at the phone was extremely rude, telling me that my card was invalid and i had to rebook the room again. Small issue, the new booking was almost 100 euros more expensive for the same room. I tried to ask if they could confirm the reservation but they treated me as a scammer. Useless to say, I booked another hotel. I don't know if it was an extremely rude customer service or a cheap trick to force people to rebook the same room at a higher price, in any case they lost a client.

GGuest UserCheap, cell like room, noisy, hot, put family’s far from each other. Never again! I had a 3 bed cell, the lower floor was particularly bad as lots of people used the picnic tables for drinking and then earlier breakfast outside our room! Reminded me of being on a small train carriage

GGuest UserWe have stayed in this hotel a number of times. It is conveniently located with good motorway and main road access. The room was OK. for a budget hotel and have been steadily improved over the years. There is is great restaurant across the carpark - excellent dinner at a good price. The big disappointment this visit was the breakfast. As before, it was a simple continental breakfast. This time the croissants were stale and seemed to be from a previous day and the baguette was chopped into thin slices, so that it dried out. The coffee is now from a self-service machine, but tastes ok.
