I think that Waldhotel is the best hotel in the whole Switzerland! When we are in Davos, we stay only here, and we will keep returning year after year. Everything is exceptional here - luxurious rooms, the service, the restaurant and the bar, the wellness center with the swimming pool, and of course people working in this amazing hotel. The view from every window there is mesmerizing. Breakfast is prepared from the locally grown produce - free range eggs, artisan breads and croissants, ham, sausages and bacon. Dinners are prepared by highly qualified chefs. One can definitely feel love and care in everything.

the hotel is located a bit over the town and has extraordinary views of davos and the mountains. the upper promenade is just behind the hotel and was wonderful in winter when we visited. they provide shuttles to the center end ski lifts. we had half board and the restaurant is great. if you drive in winter consider awd. the staff is very friendly and there is a welcome atmosphere. very recommended.

Attention, if you are looking for peace and quiet in the period between Christmas and New Year, you are in the wrong place, because the Spengler Cup has the hotel firmly in its grip with an exceptional permit for massive noise pollution from 7 a.m. for the sound check until 2 a.m. for the final song. As the hotel management is of the opinion that guests must inform themselves about such events and the associated inconvenience, although they are selling a stay for body and mind, nothing more than an offer of earplugs is to be expected. Urgent recommendation, check carefully and consider whether you can really find what you are looking for here!

The Waldhotel is a gem. The rooms, the food, the staff and the spa are world class. We spent 4 nights here over New Year and the experience was delightful. From the moment the hotel collected us from Davos Dorf until they dropped us back they looked after all of our needs. When we requested late changes to items we have booked, the helpful reception staff worked with the restaurant staff to help us change our plans as our holiday unfolded. First class people and venue. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The views of the mountains from the room balcony were exquisite, the spa was wonderful, the room was cozy and very clean and the restaurant was lovely. I highly recommend.

We were first time in this hotel after we stayed in Waldhuus with our sons several times. The location is fantastic. Beatiful view over the city. We stayed in suite 404 and junior suite 501; last one -on top floor- was for us the most atmospheric. The whole hotel exudes the atmosphere of the past; the time it was a sanatorium. Very nice how the hotel has been decorated talking into account earlier times. When you enter the restaurant you feel and recognize the atmosphere of the book from Thomas Mann "Der Zauberberg"...We ate every evening there and enjoyed the delicious dishes. The highlight was the Valentine's dinner: a rose upon arrival, beautifully decorated table! It's the little things that make it special! The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool with a pleasant temperature. A stay in this hotel I can recommend anyone who loves the atmosphere from earlier times (without being old-fashioned or out-dated) , who can enjoy beautiful views, delicious food and a good spa. We will definitely return.

They were very friendly and forthcoming. Gave us an upgrade upon check-in without hesitation. All the staff were very welcoming and could and wanted to answer to our needs in an uncomplicated manner. The room was spacious and very clean and had a wonderful view over Davos thanks to the elevated yet central location. The spa offering and the wellness aria suited us perfectly. The only critic I have is it’s furnishing. It’s a little dated and could do with a fresher and more timeless look inside. Maybe bring back some of the turn of century features in a modern and classy discrete way. Especially the hallway by the rooms felt a bit empty and therefor a bit sad.
