The hotel is in a superb location for skiing considering the walk to the lift is literally 30 seconds. It is fair to say that the hotel is in the heart of Davos Dorf which is the calm and quiet side of Davos. For the lively part and the good after-ski places you have to take a bus for 10 mins to Davos Platz. The spa of the hotel is nice and the rooms are decent size. The only complaint is probably the service. Staff are friendly but the service is very inefficient and slow. For example, if you order off the menu for breakfast (like an omelette) be prepared to wait an inappropriate time or even not get your order.

The hotel is located in the middle of the two train stations. It takes about 15 minutes to walk, but there are buses that can get under the hotel and buses are more frequent. Good breakfast, cereal coffee, etc., you can make waffles yourself, if you want to eat fried eggs or boiled eggs, you need to tell the staff. The hygiene is very clean.

A fantastically spacious appartment, immaculately clean and very well equipped. All the staff in the main hotel were friendly and efficient, even though they were often in demand from the many groups staying there. The bar was really nice with a competetive price list (by Swiss standards) and served with lovely nibbles and a smile. There was a free concert every early evening on the road above the airport and it was lovely to see local families and visitors enjoying the music. The location was excellent with nearby shops, transport, the art gallery and lovely walks and climbs. There were some minor negatives: the English TV channels were not working but it was nice to have the chance for conversation and reading - my advice is to take an extra book! We should have reported it but didn't... Some cushions on the sofas would be nice too.

Arrived to the room, my god, what horror. Thick walls like cardboard, you hear all. Scalled paintings and room and bathroom crashed. Visite du ”spa”...a piscine d'eau froide et un sauna fermé (un type très désagréable qui passait m'explique sur un ton ferme que je dois réserver mon entrée au sauna pour y aller). After a day on the trails and having passed 300km by car, we decide to eat at the hotel restaurant. We ask the reception a cheese-future, and we are answered (even a cold in a very unpleasant way) that they do not do this here....decisively, it continues...We are going out of this bad hotel to find a good restaurant where we can The hotel is very comfortable and welcome. The walls are very fine, like paper, no isolation, impossible to rest. I decide to call the reception after having patiented 1 h anyway. The receptionist told me they're going to make noise all night and what's to do with. I'm over and I just want to be able to sleep, impossible, mix with earlocks. This night tape will continue until 3h30 a.m.!!!! A shame!!! In the morning, after sleeping just a few hours, we can't have a very bad breakfast in this hotel, and then I ask the manager to explain my dissatisfaction when check out. His answer: ”Ah? We have made noise? Really?” I ask you, it's surprised. In short, we're kidding the world, No excuse, no commercial gesture. I never been in such a bad hotel. To ever escape. The hotel has a nice hotel, and it is a good hotel.

For 2 nights we were allowed to enjoy the extraordinary comfort and the very friendly staff at the Hotel Krone. There was a very friendly reception at the arrival. We were arrived early in the morning to ski. We could easily use the spacious deep garage and the skiing kelder. The hotel is an ideal starting point for skiing, a short walk to the gondol station. The room was very clean, modernly furnished and with enough room for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was exemplary and furnished with modern materials including shower gel, body lotion and fence. Water cooker for tea is also available. The room was quiet and we had 2 very pleasant and quiet nights. Large children's play area next to the reception. There was nothing missing at breakfast. Leave plates or containers were filled immediately. The offer was very rich, healthy and probably also regional. At the bar you can very well take an aperitif. In the offer is certainly something for every enjoyer. A table should be reserved for dinner in the restaurant. Very positive we were made by the very friendly staff. The reception, restaurant services, housekeeping, all had always a friendly smile or a greeting on their lips. That's rarely experienced in other hotels. Very great praise. A perfect place during COVID pandemia. the studio provides everything necessary to cook, everything is clean, the place is quiet, the team always nice and ready to help. We spent a nice week during this special period.

We can only recommend the Concordia in all respects, even if it is a older construction year. We were stayed there in the course of a booked train trip of a well-known Swiss company and were very satisfied. Rooms in top condition,(our even with large balcony), cleaning and equipment without any injury. , and even if the bathroom has a visual size, which is certainly due to the construction year, it is clean and sufficient. The reception is very well placed and always very friendly and helpful in all questions about the hotel, the city and all questions about the booked trains. Thank you especially ☆ Special is also the free parking in the hotel in the middle of Davos!! , which is very well organized by the reception. ☆ Breakfast and dinner are over-average and varied for a 3-star hotel. The staff is very good and careful, as all staff in the hotel are very friendly and premature, the family atmosphere in the house has very well been enjoyed. ☆ A bus stop is just in front of the hotel and with the integrated gray lockpass is the entire surrounding area and the Davos Square station in a few minutes free of charge. ☆ Overall, the Concordia Hotel in Davos is even a small secret tip, as it is only so that it is turning from hotel palaces in the city where at high prices no much more comfort can be offered, except perhaps a parking space for high parking fees. ☆ Our recommendation is certain that we would book it immediately. As a transit point in and out of the mountains, this hotel in Chur is very suitable. The staff is enthusiastic, the service is professional, the sanitary condition of the hotel is very good, and the rooms are big enough. If it is a temporary one-night stay before going to the mountains, it is very suitable. The hardware conditions are average, but since it is a transit hotel, the requirements are not so high. As the first ancient city in Switzerland, Chur still has a special charm. It is good to spend half a day strolling around. In addition, the canton of Graubingen, where Chur is located, is highly recommended. So far, not many Chinese tourists go to skiing in winter and hiking in summer. There are Bernina Express and Glacier Express to sit, and you can also go to the origin of the Rhine to see the canyon and hike. Zurich is also convenient in the past.

Stayed here for one night in between trips on the Bernina Express and the Glacier Express. Whilst surrounded by spectacular mountains, the hotel is situated in a soulless commercial area about 2 minutes west of central Chur by train. There is half hourly train service to / from the centre of Chur (which I found similarly lacking in charm). Finding the entrance to the hotel on arrival at Chur West was not that easy, and improved signage from the station would be helpful for first time visitors. If you are travelling with luggage expect a fair walk uphill and some steps along the way. The adjacent shopping centre looked functional enough albeit that, like 99% of businesses in Switzerland, it was closed on our arrival early on a Saturday evening and all day on the Sunday. The hotel itself occupies the first 9 floors of a tower block which I think may have had residential properties or offices above it. The small lobby area was pleasant enough and our check in was smooth, courteous and polite. The room itself was clean and simply furnished, and it offered a fridge, a coffee maker, plenty of power sockets and a decent shower. Breakfast offered a good variety of items but sometimes in modest quantities, probably reflecting the fact that we seemed to be the only guests dining there on the Sunday morning. Some items were sadly of poor quality (the croissants had a dreadfully fatty taste rather than a buttery flavour) and some were poorly prepared (fleshy, fatty bacon is most undesirable). Whilst it was included in our room rate, the walk in cost of breakfast seemed eye-wateringly high given the shortcomings we experienced. Overall, as I’m unlikely to return to Chur I’d be unlikely to stay here again. If I knew anyone visiting the city I’d be unlikely however to recommend the hotel based on my experience which was nothing more than average.
