Business four-star hotel, highly recommended for friends who drive by themselves, you don't have to stay in a small and expensive hotel in the ancient city. After playing in the ancient city at night, drive for 15 minutes, look at the night lights along the way, and soon arrive at the hotel. The room is large, the hot water is comfortable, and a fruit plate is delivered every day. You can see the Datong Museum upstairs

The room is large, but the TV is small, which is not good for watching the Olympics. The toilet has problems, and it shakes when sitting. We stayed for three consecutive days. We told the front desk that the hotel did not solve it. Generally, we can change rooms or choose other options, but the hotel did not solve it after repeated reminders. The price is about 670.
Mijing Tangyu Boutique Single Bath: It is a cooperative project. If you go there, you either pay extra for a bath, or you don’t pay or you take a shower and sweat steam + bar counter fruit snacks. The management system of breakfast is particularly bad. On the third day of our stay, we had to get up early to go to the Yungang Grottoes, and we didn’t agree to pack it. After muttering, we packed a few fruit eggs. The lobby of this hotel doesn’t even have air conditioning. I won’t choose it next time I go to Datong!

The servixe staffs at the hotel is very helpful in attending to our queries. It provides laundry services which make it very convenient. The only setback is that there is only 2 lifts so if you are staying in high floor, will need to wait for longer time to take the lift.

This hotel is really really beautiful - maybe even more than the photos show. Even though the style is traditional, everything inside the room is new, and there's even an elevator to take up bags. The location is amazing too, inside the old city wall, and I walked everywhere except the out of town attractions I visited. I think anywhere you stay in Datong you might have some communication challenges if you don't speak Chinese, but the owner here was very helpful once I put wechat on my phone to be able to talk with translation help, and he was able to arrange a last minute taxi out to the hanging temple after I had given up trying to get one. However, even though he was very helpful, he wasn't always around, and checking in was a bit difficult because there was nobody at the desk. I think this is only a problem if you don't speak Chinese though.
Unfortunately, the wifi didn't always reach to my room on the 3rd floor well, and I could only get a trickle of hot water out of the shower. Overall though, I was super happy with this place and would recommend it!

I came to Datong to watch a concert and chose a niche brand that I had never stayed at before. Because it was also a chain brand owned by a group, I felt it was safe. It was actually better than expected.
-style. The decoration is very suitable for young people. The lobby is a bit cyberpunk? Or technology style? More vibrant blue-orange
-Configuration. Then the lobby also provides free iced American food, and there is also a Hanfu experience (I came alone and didn’t try it). There is also an open listening area next to the lobby. Although it is small, it has all the necessary features, which is great for the city of Datong.
-Guest room. There are many details, such as full-length mirrors and bathroom disinfectant sprays. The smarter Xiaodu can replace curtain lights and air conditioners, which basically frees your hands. The TV can be projected onto the screen to watch dramas. The bedside table also has wireless charging.
-Location. Very good. There is a school and a community opposite. The intersection downstairs is very lively at night. There are many food stalls and fruits, etc. I am really envious. Isn’t this a night market in the south? The prices are also exciting. I bought it for five yuan. a big watermelon
- Check-in was very fast, and they even put a protective cover for my ID card, so attentive. In addition, the package also comes with pick-up or drop-off service at Datong South Station, but I didn't use it when I went to and from the airport.

HHong PeirWe had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staffs were very attentive and willing to go above and beyond to meet our requests. The breakfast was served in the basement and food served was predominantly local Datong food. There is a chinese tea making facilities in the basement which is available for all guests to use.
The hotel is situated in old Datong town (strictly no car zone). Taxi will drop off hotel guests in the main road which is roughly 1-2min easy walk to the hotel. All major attractions in Datong old town are within walking distance from the hotel.

IIndrekhHotel was nice and overall clean but description shows that hotel have non smoking rooms but our first room smells like ashdrray. Hotel was fully booked exept suites (i eas not agreed to pay more) and they promised to overclean our room. But sadly smoke smell didn’t disappeared. Smell was still in the shower room and it was discusting. Next night we got new room and everything was fine. Location is great. Breakfast was modest but ok. You can park your car in to underground parking place and it was without extra cost.

The girl at the front desk and the security guard are very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded our room for free. The overall check-in experience for a family of six is very good. The breakfast is rich in varieties, especially Datong's special sliced noodles and haggis taste great! It's a pity that this trip to Datong is only for one night. If I stay for one more day, I will continue to stay! Will choose this hotel again in the future!

HHeiheirenFirst of all, when I checked in, the front desk lady found a room for me while reciting the notes I had put in the order. It was a very good first impression! The bedding in the room was very comfortable and the bathroom layout was reasonable. The shower was big and comfortable. Fruits and crispy shark were given as a gift when turning down the bed at night. The location of the hotel is quite good. It is very close to Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, Nine Dragon Wall and other attractions. It is also a very good experience to walk through the ancient city. Moreover, the hotel restaurant tastes good and the service is good. I stayed for three days and had dinner in the hotel every day. I didn't need to go to the Internet celebrity restaurant next to it. Figure 1 2 3 is the window view of the room, where you can see Chunyang Palace. Figure 4 5 is the restaurant dishes. You must try the cold day lily. Figure 6 is the oil cake that was given just in time for the hotel's 20th anniversary celebration. In short, it was a very good stay experience. I will come again next time.

JJamesHarrisI actually stayed here for three nights, in two different rooms. Both the rooms were very spacious and light, which I appreciated. The room wasn’t spotlessly clean but definitely satisfactory for the price paid. The biggest problem for me was with the bathroom. In the first bathroom, the smell of smoke seemed to be coming through the vent from another room, and in both bathrooms the shower would benefit from hotter water and better water pressure. Despite this, the manager and the sister who worked on the reception were both very friendly and helpful. The manager let me use her phone number for my food delivery(so she could speak to and direct the driver) and even drove me to the hospital to take a COVID test on my last night. They couldn’t have done more to help me and I really appreciated it. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Datong.

Hygiene: Clean, tidy, and a hotel at this price can meet such standards. I highly recommend it.
Environment: A hotel hidden in a residential area is very cost-effective, let’s not talk about the environment. If you want a high-end environment, then go for a 5-star hotel or above, but it may not be more comfortable (in my opinion).
The hotel is suitable for people who personally think that the best choice for general business travelers and couples is super cost-effective! Or those who travel in groups, those with limited travel expenses, and ordinary people!

The guest room supplies are complete, including lens wipes, razors, etc., which are of high quality and not cheap goods that cost a few cents a pack. Room service is on call. GGeorgeI enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is quite a bit to see around Lingqiu, and I should have stayed one extra night or two. Miss Liu (刘小姐), the front receptionist, was extremely helpful, even going all the way to accompany me to the bus stop to catch the bus heading to the Pingxingguan Battle site. Miss Liu also assisted with booking a cab for my visit to the Jueshan Pagoda. This famous Pagoda was founded before England was established by William the Conqueror (if I am wrong, then pardon me, but the Pagoda was built sometime before 1077 A.D. during the Northern Wei Dynasty). Miss Liu also directed me to the gravesite of King Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty which is right in downtown Lingqiu.
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. One restaurant, next door to the right of the hotel, serves a wondering braised fish; the other a few doors away, sells delicious meat pies.
My room was professionally cleaned and serviced daily.
The hotel even allows me to doze off on the reception floor sofa to await my night train to Beijing.
I will return to this hotel if I return to Lingqiu.
