The room was very lighting, big and beautiful views at night. Very clean and the staff was so so helpful. They helped us to book a taxi to go to The Hanging temple and buy tickets. Totally recommended. We will come back. The manager was so friendly.

I stayed one night at the hotel. I was visiting Datong. I arrived early and asked front desk if I could leave my suitcase whilst I did some sightseeing. The front desk staff told me I could check into my room. The young lady who assisted me spoke some English. She also helped me with booking tickets to visit the Yungang Grottes. My room rate included breakfast which had a wide choice of items. The room I had (1212) was spotlessly clean and had a view towards the old walls. I would highly recommend this hotel for a tourist visit.

The inn is in the Drum Tower Pedestrian Street. When we went, it was not the peak tourist season. Because we brought dogs, it was relatively convenient with fewer people. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. Sanitary napkins are also separated from wet and dry, and it is very quiet at night. It is very convenient to eat and go shopping around. Some online celebrity restaurants in Dianping can be reached within a 10-minute walk. At night, you can go to the ancient city wall to see the night view, and you can reach it on foot.

When I came to Datong, I chose Hampton by Hilton. I had stayed in Liangzhu before and felt that the experience was very good, so I chose it directly when I came to Datong! Sure enough, the check-in experience was very good. Xiaoyu at the front desk had a great reception attitude. I checked in smoothly. The location of the arranged room was also good and the sound insulation was very good. The location of the hotel is really convenient. Almost all drivers know where the hotel is. Door-to-door pick-up saves a lot of trouble. It only takes 10 minutes to drive to Datong Ancient City. I am sure to play. The hotel's breakfast is also very rich and tastes very good. I will stay here again next time!

Stayed here 3 nights with my family. The hotel is close to the high speed railway station. The guest room is well appointed and comfortable. Cleanliness can do better, there was mold in the bathroom. The bell staff service was lacking, our request to arrange for transport to the Train station on the day of our departure was denied The bell hop asked us t make our own arrangements Other than that, all good during our stay. We would like to make special mention to their Front Office manager, Mr Yang whom we had the pleasure to meet on the first day when we checked in. When he found out that we required a driver and a guide to bring around us to explore Datong, Mr Yang quickly made the arrangement at a reasonable price. He even arranged for the Chinese Restaurant to serve us lunch when he heard that we needed lunch. Lunch at the restaurant was good and we continued to patronise thoroughout our stay. We must compliment the great service rendered by all day dining and Chinese restaurant service teams. Thank you, once again to Mr Yang for going his extra mile to serve us. Your hospitality made our stay at Yungang Hotel so memorable.

We stayed at Yungang Jianguo Hotel for 5 days. The service of the old hotel is quite good. Let me talk about the location first. The hotel is in a very good location. It is on Yingbin Road, not far from Parkson and other business districts. Behind the hotel is the south wall of the ancient city 1 kilometer away. , there happens to be a lantern festival just above, just walking distance. Besides, the hotel's parking lot is very large, which is very suitable for those who come by car. Even if it's the Spring Festival rush hour, you don't have to worry about not being able to park your car. The hotel breakfast is also good, starting at 6:30, with rich varieties, the service staff is very good, and the dishes are removed in time. Knowing that we were going to drive, we thoughtfully prepared fruit, milk and bread for us to take on the road, which was very warm. The important thing to say is that the aunt who cleans the room is very nice. When she comes back from going out every day, the room will be cleaned, bath products will be replenished, and a fruit plate will be provided every day. The hotel also gave me bathing coupons. Datong is a warm city. I will come back and choose to stay here in the future.

Inside the ancient city wall, it's a 5-minute walk from the Drum Tower. It's very convenient. The boss and his wife are very welcoming! The boss said that the double bed in our house cost 150,000 yuan, no wonder it was so comfortable to lie down on! The condition of the house is indeed very good! They are all intelligent, and the bathroom ware is all from Jiumu brand. I am very willing to buy it! The boss also arranged a drop-off service for us on the return trip, which was very considerate! The boss now has three stores in the ancient city. I would like to experience the Huayan Temple store next time I come. It is indeed the number one B&B in Datong! Well-deserved this name👍

The courtyard is very beautifully furnished, the room is small and exquisite, the facilities are very new, well-equipped, and the bedding is more comfortable! But because it is on the first floor, the light in the room is slightly dim. Although the breakfast is a very exquisite set meal, unfortunately for us Hunan people, it always feels a little light!

Moreover, three people stayed in the four-person room booked, but only one room card was given when checking in. There is not always someone at the front desk. If you need anything, you need to call or shout in the yard. Facilities: The facilities are OK. As Datong, which is at the same altitude as Zhangjiakou, this house has no heating. It relies on central air conditioning + independent air conditioning for heating, but this is the north! I was so dry that I had to turn on the air conditioner for heating in the south. Not to mention Datong. I turned on the air conditioner all night and couldn’t sleep because of the dryness. It’s not okay not to turn on the air conditioner, it’s really cold! It’s still minus ten degrees outside in March. Other facilities. It's a duplex, but the second floor is half a loft. I sleep on the mat at night like sleeping on the floor. The key is that there is only one electrical socket in the loft, no small cabinet, no bedside table, and even no independent light for the small loft. 😭 It's really a loft with no other conveniences except sleeping on the floor, like an enlarged version of the ”upper bunk” in the dormitory. This room is equipped with a walk-in closet, which is good. The bath water is relatively hot, the bath floor drain is also fast, and the toilet flushing noise is small, which is good. Hygiene: The hygiene is OK. There are only two towels and two bath towels in the bathroom, and there is no floor mat. The elderly should be careful to slip when staying. Environment: The location is still excellent, and several surrounding attractions are within walking distance.
