This is a hotel in the BTG series. It's my first time staying in the Jianguo brand. I have a good impression. There are not many hotels in Datong. This one is very cost-effective during the May Day holiday. The location is close to the ancient city. Bus No. 15 and No. 35 can reach the scenic area, and the taxi is only about 10 yuan. The room is large and the hygiene is good. There are fruit snacks and scenic spot bookmarks at the front desk. In terms of cost control, it is ”grasping the big and letting go of the small” and is more generous to tourists. Nongfu Spring is unlimited, breakfast can be packed, and there will be no extra meals after the trip. The hotel has a business car for pick-up, which is also a highlight. Paying attention to these details is also the main reason for the good reviews on the platform.

A very cost-effective hotel! Although the hotel is far from the ancient city, it is very close to museums and art galleries. Wanda Plaza is across the road, where there are two famous old restaurants in Datong, which are very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. It is suitable for self-driving travel, and the underground parking lot is large. The hotel's buffet is great, especially the knife-cut noodles, mutton offal noodles and mutton dumplings, which are very authentic. The hotel room is well soundproofed and the whole hotel is very quiet. Of course, there are some shortcomings. For example, in the early April weather, the hotel room was extremely hot and dry, and the air conditioner did not provide cold air. It could only open the window 24 hours a day to dissipate heat, and the temperature control was not in place. The curtains in the room are behind a whole row of sofas. There are no smart facilities. You can only climb up the sofa to open and close the curtains, which is very inconvenient. The hotel twin room only has a single bed of 1.2 meters, and the double room is only 1.8 meters, which is not friendly to families with children. I hope to add a parent-child room with two beds, one large and one small.

Non-smoking room was created on the fly for us. Consequently the smell of smoke lingered on in the room. Service was extremely prompt. The person taking care of our laubdry ran up the stairs faster than me. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Limited English language capabilities.

During the trip to Jinbei by car, due to the temporary adjustment of the itinerary, I just left Datong the day before yesterday and returned to Datong again. I firmly chose Yuecheng Hotel. Datong is an absolute treasure hotel. The hotel is very new. It is on the ninth to eleventh floors of the building. The underground parking lot has a hotel exclusive parking space. It is equipped with a dedicated elevator to the eleventh floor. Convenient and fast, the room is large and well equipped, equivalent to the Atour hotel, the whole house is clean and tidy, this is very important, the bedding is comfortable, the pillows are high and low, the short pillows are in my heart, the sound insulation effect is good and quiet, a good night sleep, shower room dry and wet separation, smart toilet must be, The hotel is equipped with a laundry room. Panasonic laundry dryer is simple and convenient to use. There is an automatic massage chair in the laundry room. It is recommended that you feel it and relax. Because we are affirming the hotel again, the hotel presents breakfast for us to experience. The breakfast variety is enough to meet the needs of each guest. The price is favorable and the price is super high. The hotel is located in the business district. It is very convenient for eating and shopping around. It is also close to the ancient city. The accommodation experience is very satisfactory!

The hygiene is really not good. I stayed with two children. I arrived at the hotel at 3 am. I didn't want to bother the children. If I arrived earlier, I would have checked out and changed to another one. I booked two rooms, one for the elderly. There was a smell of smoke when I opened the door. The elderly didn't want to bother so they opened the window for ventilation and slept. As for the parent-child room, I didn't find any obvious discomfort when I opened the door. The children liked the bed, but the bathroom was not good. The basin of the washbasin was very shallow and the water was rushing. When the child put the water on, it splashed all over his body and the surrounding table. When I went to the shower area, I could see other people's hair on the wall, and there was also a pair of women's underwear. It seriously affected my mood. Did you really clean it? Or did you only make the bed? There are still many details that were not done. I don't want to complain, I'm too tired. I wrote it to say that the hair was still there when we left. I don't know if it will stay until the Chinese New Year. I will not book Yunduo Hotel again in the future.

It can be regarded as the most satisfactory hotel I have ever stayed in Datong! There are many excellent places, clean and hygienic, complete facilities, good air conditioning/bathroom/bedding, sufficient water and drinks, friendly service, convenient transportation, and good breakfast. The main shortcomings are: 1. The quilt was too thick, and the air conditioner was turned on to 19 degrees, making it hot even if covered with it. 2. I really don’t like this automatic flushing toilet🚽! It looks very smart, but in fact, if you use it in the middle of the night, it will easily disturb your sleeping family.

The in-room amenities were well-equipped and functioned well, meeting all my business needs. The hotel's dining service was also commendable, with a rich and nutritious breakfast menu featuring both local specialties and more traditional Western dishes, catering to every palate. Furthermore, the hotel's strict security measures and excellent hygiene in both public areas and guest rooms create a safe and clean experience. The Xiyun Hotel Datong, with its prime location, excellent service, comfortable environment, and comprehensive facilities, provided me with a perfect stay. The few days I stayed in Datong were the most comfortable days I stayed in during my whole trip to Shanxi. For me, who is a germaphobe, the Hualu Hotel is completely up to standard. Everything from toiletries to in-house facilities are high-end, far beyond five-star. The breakfast was also excellent, with both Chinese and Western dishes, as well as local specialties. The wontons were delicious. The room was clean and hygienic. Xiaodu was very convenient. The room also had a small refrigerator, and there was a market nearby, so you could store your fruit there, which was a great touch. The bathroom, toilet, and sink were all separate and spacious. The smart toilet was also very convenient. The location is excellent, close to the ancient city, with ample parking, making it very convenient for those driving. There are also large shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, making shopping convenient. I even bought some Shanxi specialties. Zi Ni 369 Coarse Grain Restaurant and Long Ju Xiang are both within walking distance. It was a very satisfying trip and I would stay here again!
