We had an amazing stay! The host helped us to book tickets and a taxi to go to yungang grottoes and the hanging temple. We had a wonderful time and, despite the language barrier, we were able to communicate perfectly. We felt very welcomed and can only recommend to western tourists. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the old town and the room is nice for the price. Cheers.

The room is very good in every aspect. The space is really big and there is a projection to watch. It is close to the road but not noisy at all. After playing in Datong for two days, I slept very comfortably. The B&B is close to Qingyuan Gate. Recently, there are lantern festivals on other city walls. , you can go up to this city gate for free, there are a lot of restaurants around, highly recommended, I will stay here next time. At the end of the day, Datong is really a seriously underestimated tourist city.

The boss is nice, but the environment is terrible. There is a smell of dust when you open the door, and the floor is also covered with dust. The hot water is enough to wash one person, and I wash my face with cold water at night. I keep coughing from inhaling the dust. The smell is really too dirty. The disposable slippers are as thin as paper, and the toilet paper is also very bad. We all use our own tissues and shoes. Very bad experience, sorry for the bad review!
