Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties.
Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive.
Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff.
What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The hotel is dated but the service and amenities make it five stars. Pool is pretty sad though. Probably the best location in Datong.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the room was old and needed refurbishment. Breakfast was very good.

Staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make me comfortable. They were also able to arrange a private car last minute to take me to Xunkong Temple and the Yungang Grottoes.
Love the VR headset and tea in the room!

Hotels are near to main street but cars are not able to drive near the entrance. There is no concierge to help with the luggage.

It was a very satisfying stay. The service is excellent, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Their breakfast buffet is diverse and plentiful.
The location is perfect for all the city sights. I'd definitely stay there again.
