The location is close to the castle, the facilities are clean and modern, and the staff are friendly. However, the only drawback is that the soundproofing is not good. You can hear conversations from the neighboring rooms and even the knocking sound.

The hotel is very good, strategic location, not too far from the old city attractions.

I stayed there 2 days. The reception was really nice and helpful even though she didn’t know English. Place was clean and spacious and quiet. So we did get plenty of rest. Definitely stay there again next time 😊😊😊

Very professional staff and excellent location.

I stayed one night at the hotel. I was visiting Datong. I arrived early and asked front desk if I could leave my suitcase whilst I did some sightseeing. The front desk staff told me I could check into my room. The young lady who assisted me spoke some English. She also helped me with booking tickets to visit the Yungang Grottes. My room rate included breakfast which had a wide choice of items. The room I had (1212) was spotlessly clean and had a view towards the old walls. I would highly recommend this hotel for a tourist visit.

Clean and sanitary, the environment is the same as the picture, and the boarding point for the direct bus to the scenic spot is relatively close. Very quiet, with good sound insulation. The complimentary coffee is quite delicious, and the lemon tea at the front desk is also good.

Datong Ailai Hotel has a superior location, elegant environment, luxurious facilities and excellent service. For me, a foodie, I have to give a big thumbs up to the hotel's food! The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation. It takes only more than 10 minutes to walk to the magnificent and quaint Datong Ancient City Wall. In addition, there is Datong's largest Yuhe Ecological Park on the east side of the hotel. It is open to the public free of charge all day and is a good place for relaxation, walking, running, sightseeing and aerobic exercise. The hotel has a standardized and guarded parking lot, which is very convenient for traveling to famous attractions such as Yungang Grottoes, Huayan Temple, Hengshan, and Hanging Temple. It is 15-30 minutes away from Datong High-speed Railway Station, Railway Station, and Airport. There are also all kinds of dining, shopping, and entertainment venues in the business district. The famous Xijindao Knife-cut Noodles, Beiwei Family Banquet, Hongya Hotel, Wanda Plaza, Parkson, Fantawild, and Wenying Lake are not far from the hotel. The hotel's decoration style is modern and elegant. The lobby is spacious and bright. The rooms and public areas are clean and tidy. The linens are very tasteful, clean and sanitary, the rooms are odorless, the sound insulation is good, quiet, and private. The bathroom is actually an international luxury brand. The bedding is comfortable, you can sleep peacefully, and it is very comfortable to stay. The leisure tea bar on the first floor amazed me. The design and artistic information are strong, the collision of new Chinese style and modern sense, and the punch-in and photo-taking are very good. The breakfast is also great, with rich dishes and authentic taste. There are Datong-style yellow rice jelly, mutton offal powder, and knife-cut noodles, which taste great 👍. The hotel environment is good, fresh and stylish, the room is very clean, and the bed is quite comfortable. The most important thing is that the breakfast is delicious, there are mutton offal and knife-cut noodles, the taste is very good, very friendly to our special forces itinerary. The transportation is convenient, and you can walk to the ancient city. I went to Dongnanyi for a stroll, which has a great atmosphere, like the Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu. It is easy to take pictures. Yungang Grottoes and Huayan Temple are also very convenient. The most important thing is to check in, Zini 369 and Xijindao Knife-cut Noodles, it's worth the trip~ Datong's food is really to my taste~ A city worth recommending, like!
