Luming Xuan Siheyuan Homestay (Datong Ancient City Branch)

This time I traveled to Datong and stayed at Lumingxuan Courtyard B&B, which was a great experience! As you step into the B&B, you will be instantly attracted by the quaint environment. The courtyard is neatly laid out, with blue bricks and gray tiles, and dotted with green plants. It is quiet and elegant, blending perfectly with the atmosphere of the ancient city. At present, it seems that some facilities are still being improved. I believe they will look better in the near future! The homestay has just opened. It has smart home facilities throughout the house and an extra-large tatami, which is enough for four people to play cards. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities are high-end. The key is that the price is very affordable and the cost performance is super high. The staff was warm and thoughtful. When checking in, they patiently introduced the surrounding attractions and helped plan the itinerary. Especially the chef Liu in the restaurant, the knife-cut noodles he made are not worse than the famous "Xijindao". It feels great to eat a bowl of noodles early in the morning and then walk around the ancient city for a day~~ The B&B is located in the ancient city of Datong, which is very convenient for travel. There are many delicious foods around. You can walk to the Nine Dragon Wall, the Confucian Temple, and the Dai Wangfu in more than 1 kilometer. You can also walk to various restaurants recommended by Xiaohongshu, such as "Xijindao" and "Qiaobi Yangguan". The first time I came to Datong, I felt the hospitality of Datong people just by staying in a homestay. I came to Datong again during the May Day holiday and stayed at Lumingxuan!

This stay experience was really great! First of all, the hygiene is good. The bedding and bathroom are very clean, making you feel at ease staying here. The service is also very considerate. The lady at the front desk is warm and friendly and can provide help at any time. The environment is even more amazing. The scenery of the courtyard is beautiful, the air is fresh, and especially the overall view of the courtyard is simply refreshing. The room is well soundproofed, and I slept very soundly at night, and could hardly hear any noise from outside. The bath water is also very powerful, with sufficient water pressure and easy temperature adjustment, making the bath very comfortable. The breakfast is also delicious and the service partners are also very considerate. In short, I was very satisfied with this stay. The location of the B&B is very good, it is inside the ancient city wall, towards the south, and the entire ancient city is within walking distance. You can also see the lights on the city wall from the room, and the scenery is very beautiful. The most noteworthy thing is the enthusiasm of the boss. He was afraid that we couldn't find the location by car, so he guided us all the way to the door of the homestay as soon as we entered Datong. He also helped to carry the suitcases. He was very considerate. I felt the hospitality of the people of Datong. Very good accommodation experience, will book again next time.

The grounds are very nice, everything is very clean for a new opening, and the rooms are large, larger than the average hotel room. The store owner has a good attitude and provides great service. The road in the ancient city was closed, so our car couldn't drive to the store door, and we were almost late for the train. The store owner rode an electric bike to help us deliver our luggage.
