This time when I came to Datong for a trip, I chose a homestay hidden in the ancient city - Huazhu Yunzhou Taihe Homestay. The moment I moved in, I knew I had chosen the right place for this trip! As soon as I arrived at the door of the B&B, I was attracted by its quaint appearance. The gate has the charm of traditional northern architecture. When you push the door open, warm air hits you in the face, instantly dispelling the dampness and coldness of early spring. The landlord was very welcoming. Not only did he check me in quickly, he also introduced me to Datong's attractions and food. It felt like meeting a long-lost friend. The room we stayed in was very cozy, with warm lighting and simple yet stylish furniture, making people feel particularly relaxed. The bedding is soft and comfortable. Lying on it feels like being gently wrapped by clouds, and the fatigue from a day's work disappears instantly. There is also a small balcony in the room. Through the window you can see the streets of the ancient city. Red lanterns are lit at night, creating an antique feel and a special atmosphere. The public area of ​​the homestay is also very distinctive, with a spacious courtyard. Although the green plants in the courtyard lack vitality in early spring, the red lanterns under the eaves give it a unique charm. You can bask in the sun here during the day, and chat with other guests at night and share interesting stories from your trip. During the few days I spent at Huazhu Yunzhou Taihe B&B, I not only had a warm and comfortable "home", but also felt more deeply the charm of the city of Datong. It is like a treasure hidden in the ancient city, waiting to be discovered by every traveler who comes to Datong. Next time I come to Datong, I will definitely choose here again!

The boss provided excellent service and sent welcome fruit. The room was elegantly decorated and had a super large bed, so a family with two kids could roll around freely. It was very clean, and the bath towels were all soft. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas and a smart toilet. In such cold weather, there was floor heating indoors, as well as a humidifier, tea sets and tea leaves! When I was halfway through checking out, I received a call from the boss saying that he hadn't picked up my watch. He also helped to mail it. Full marks!
