Datong, Intercontinental Holiday Inn Zhixuan, the environment of this hotel has many Chinese elements.The room is colorful and the breakfast is delicious. The service staff is also warm, like the environment, thank you for everything!

The hotel is quite new, featuring high-end, clean, and comfortable rooms with great beds. The staff was friendly and attentive, offering free water, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was enjoyable, although the international options were somewhat limited. Given that most guests were Chinese, this was understandable. The coffee was excellent, which was definitely a highlight.
The hotel’s location just outside the city was convenient, especially since many attractions are located nearby. However, the only downside was that the hotel felt a bit too warm, maintaining a temperature around 25°C. This seemed to be a common concern among other guests as well. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in a comfortable setting.

The room is very cozy and user-friendly. The light at the entrance is inductive, so you don't have to worry about the dark when you go to the bathroom at night. The hotel breakfast is delicious, with many special Datong delicacies, such as knife-cut noodles and steamed red dates; the fried dough sticks are freshly made and fried, very delicious; the salads are very fresh; the freshly ground coffee is also good. The hotel is considerate, because it is still relatively cold outside in Datong, there are warm bottled water in the lobby for you to pick up when you go out.

Every service staff in the hotel is very friendly and enthusiastic. The environment is clean, the room is large, and most importantly, there is no smell of smoke in the room. There are many types of breakfast, and the dishes and bread are changed every day. The knife-cut noodles are also delicious. When checking in, I was lucky to meet two service staff, Miss Liu and a gentleman at the counter. They assisted us in checking in and introduced nearby food. Thank you also to Manager Guo for your enthusiastic help, which made our journey a wonderful one.
