An ideal place to stay in Datong, a neighborhood filled with locals and offering local prices. The facilities were excellent, with heating throughout the hotel, including underfloor heating. It had many amenities nearby, and was very close to the northern entrance to the walled city. The owner was particularly kind and attentive (he was kind enough not only to lend us his washing machine but also to do our laundry himself, even offering us free rooms so we could dry them quickly), as well as helping us with any request we had. I would definitely stay here again!
