Good little hotel with a great breakfast at a reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious - sadly lacking a fridge which would have made it perfect. The ladies on reception though made it a pleasure to stay there. Their kindness and interest in making our visit the best it could be was appreciated. About 15 mins walk from the heart of old town.

Great location: just outside the Datong ancient city. Excellent service, special thanks to Mdm Chen Ling, who provides outstanding customer service. She even went out of her way to book museum tickets for me. The housekeeping staff did a great job, keeping the room clean to a high standard. Highly recommended hotel.

Very helpfull and close to everything. The beds are to the not so soft side, if you prefer that. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had an excellent stay at Meijing Hotel, primarily due to the exceptional staff who were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options served in a spacious dining area, and the hotel's prime location put us within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Our only complaint was that our non-smoking room had a lingering cigarette smell upon arrival, though staff promptly provided an air purifier to address the issue. While we would absolutely stay again for the outstanding service, we hope they can improve their smoke control measures for an even better experience next time.

Very convenient location, and can see nice view from the hotel room. Staff were very helpful, we wanted to order food in but didn't have a China number so they offered to use their own. When they saw us hovering at the free refreshment corner on check out day searching for water, they immediately offered bottled water for free.

Great value hotel with sincere staffs. It looks slightly dated but extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast is good. It is located close to Datong City walls and 300m to the river. It is a runner paradise! I stayed for 4 nights and I’m going back again for at least a week.
