The hotel is close to the Marra Stadium and Airport. It has a free shuttle to the airport. The room was nice with comfy bed, nice TV that I watched the Collingwood versus Greater Western football game on edge as for the last nine minutes Collingwood was in front and they did not score and kept Greater Western from scoring. The bed was comfy, plenty of tea and sugar and clean bathroom. The price of $209-00 was very expensive and the breakfast also at $26-00.After check out time at 10-00 they had storage for my luggage also.

The hotel is not far from the airport, but the hotel's facilities are quite simple. It is OK to stay for one night. Fortunately, the hotel's bathroom is clean.

For the price I paid I wasn't really sure what I was walking into, but I was prepared for the worst. My dad was an alcoholic, I grew up in country pubs. I'm quite comfortable with the smell of beer and cigarettes... Winnellie surprised me. Well the Sports Bar entry to check in didn't, that is straight out of the 70s/80s and is full of old men complaining about the animal they just lost a bet on. Ignore all that and check into your room, it's way better than you think! Freshly painted and refurbished. Amazing air-conditioning. Great amenities. Secure. As a woman travelling alone I felt very safe here. The bathroom is dated but who cares, clean and hot water. This room is kinda a diamond in the rough and you hotta hand it to the owners. It's tough taking on a building like this and making it attractive to modern expectations. It even has a fancy new coffee machine... that is a strong selling point. If you are sensitive to sounds bring earplugs. You will be in an industrial area and next door to an airport. No sound concerns within the building, its a reasonably quiet pub scene here. 100% recommend and would come back if I'm ever up this way again.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinushka Goonathalake looked after us very well. Having stayed for a conference a previous week we were most appreciative of a lovely room opening onto the park overlooking the bay on our return from adventuring in Arnem Land. Our room was always fresh and light, the bathroom modern. We appreciated access to open air from the small balcony. A good variety of teas was provided. The atmosphere was relaxed, suiting Darwin's tropical feel. Freshly prepared breakfast on the terrace or indoors and excellent coffee available if desired. Easily accessible morning & evening walks in the park along the bay to town and nearby restaurants was an added bonus.

First of all, it was very clean because it was renewed. Nevertheless, due to the local characteristics of Darwin, I saw insects in the room on the first day, but when I told the office, I cleaned them and put them in the room. Locationally, there was a mindil sunset market within walking distance and cbd was not too far away. Although I inquired about the check-out rate due to the flight, I was disappointed about the part that cost $30 an hour, but other than that, it was generally a satisfactory visit.

The location is very good, looking west to see the most beautiful sunset and sunset in Darwin, the facilities are complete, **, Italian, Chinese, swimming pool..., the front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and tidy, facing the lagoon pool, the indoor area is big enough. The disadvantage is that the door from the room into the bathroom is too thick, every time the in and out will automatically close, trouble and close the door momentarily loud. When the checkout, I knew that the mineral water in the minibar was charged, but housekeeping and the waiter who checked the minibar entered the room and said it was free. As a result, four bottles were charged 24 Australian dollars when the checkout was done. I was too lazy to talk to the front desk about the theory. I felt that I was also seeing people. Me & my husband loved it here, we stayed 3 nights but could have happily stayed much longer! We had an apartment with a king bed! It had everything you needed, I could have quite happily lived there, you have a full kitchen with microwave, hob, grill and oven. They provide washing up liquid, cloths, tea, coffee etc as well as soap , shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, they really have thought of everything! There was a shopping centre a 5 min walk away with a BWS too! The bus stop is a 1 min walk which was really handy, especially since transport is free until Jan 2023. I would 100% stay here again, it was a perfect stay and excellent value for money!
