We are frequent visitors to Darwin and this time was the first time we have stayed at the Waterfront Appartments. The Waterfront is a great place to stay with Teens as they can swim, roam around and there are loads of restaurants to choose from. Our 2 bed/2 bath was a great size, aircon and fans to keep cool in the “build up”. Big kitchen, great bathrooms, BBQ, big TV to keep the teens happy at night and a balcony for mum! Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had the most wonderful weekend. Arriving on my own and with a hire car I was a little nervous about the check in process but it was so simple as the instructions so clear and easy to follow. The 3 bedroom apartment was perfectly presented with all the amenities you needed (including floats for the lagoon) and whilst my son, daughter and grandchildren all live in Darwin (and me a long time ago) it was so nice to have as my grandson called it a “staycation” in their own backyard. It was also the perfect birthday weekend celebration for me enjoying family dinners at fabulous restaurants in the area and the bbq and veranda were a great hit. The view was absolutely amazing 😊 think we lucked in with one of the best rooms in the entire precinct. It was also fantastic to be able to take advantage of the out of season room rates which made the whole experience very affordable.

I loved my stay at Darwin Waterfront Luxury Suites. Beautiful two bedroom/2 bath apartment. Had great AC and WiFi. Plus parking. Great customer service. Whenever I had a question or needed anything they were so helpful. Had great views of the ocean with an outside sitting area, which I loved sitting at to watch a storm come in. The beds were comfortable and was very clean. Also had a washer and dryer. Was quiet. Tons of fun activities close by but I heard no background noise in the apartment, which was important to me because I had to work a few of the days online. Best location in town. The waterfront lagoon, which is crocodile free, is right in front of the building. Has a water play area for kids. Tons of good restaurants in the area. One night I took the elevator to the walking bridge to enjoy an event at civic square. There is parking under the building but if you don’t have a car this a great location. I walked to the sunset cruise, all tours pick up at the hotel next door, the hop on hop off bus has a stop under the walking bridge next to the apartments. The place is equipped with a full kitchen but if you don’t want to cook you can just walk down to eat at one of the restaurants at the waterfront. Love my stay and highly recommend.

The location of our suite on the waterfront was very convenient to attractions; the lagoon and wave pool; a variety of restaurants/eateries and bars. The mall and grocery shopping were also a comfortable walk. Our two bedroom suite was spacious, well presented and equipped. We made use of the sea breeze, but could also cool down further with the fans or air conditioning. It had a great outlook from the balcony, which we enjoyed every day for a number of meals. A fantastic bonus was the free use of a car to get around local museums, markets and grocery shopping. Now that the circuit around Litchfield National Park is sealed we were able to stay within the conditions of to the car’s use to do a wonderful, self-paced day trip around several of the waterfalls and pools. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

Admittedly it was a poor choice on our part, but be warned that these apartments are in the middle of a very noisy, touristy and hectic precinct, with very loud thumping music on the first two nights of our stay (again admittedly a Friday and Saturday night) and it started again 8am Sunday morning. Not our thing, to put it mildly. We also had the poor luck to arrive out of hours in the evening, and our instruction notes to get into the apartment were wrong, so very stressful arrival. Otherwise, the apartment was ok. Would appreciate small things like salt and pepper, tea towels and hand wash to be there - you don’t want to buy these things for a 4-night stay.

Having stayed before, we booked to go again. Unfortunately, we experienced a family emergency and needed to cancel one week out. We were not offered a refund (policy), asked for a credit to be able to stay at another date (NO), asked if we could move the booking to another date (NO). God forbid if you have a booking and a family member passes, Will never go back, they have now a free room, our money. No assistance. Bloody disappointing

Fantastic place to stay right on the waterfront. Balcony was large with a lounge, table and bbq overlooking the waterfront. One bedroom apartment was clean and a great size with everything you needed including a washer and dryer. Location is 5star with many restaurants and bars at your door step. Large grassed areas with 2 x lagoons for swimming and a wave pool. Can walk to stokes wharf and also to city centre. Highly recommended!

Great location at this 1 bedroom apartment. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to people enjoying themselves in the restaurants and children playing. The apartment had a dishwasher, washing machine, rack to hang your clothes, detergent provided etc. On arrival there were beers, wine, dip, crackers and chocolates, so lovely as we arrived late. As we stayed 7 nights, the apartment was serviced half way through. The staff were helpful and friendly.
