Hotel Blue Lagoon

We (me, my wife and son) went to mirik after spending 2 days at lepchajagat. The timing was bad. It was full season, thronging with bengali vacationers, nepali festival time, most amenities were closed, journeys were interrupted with nepali festival processions, we had to make detours on many occasions. It was raining all the time. Sightseeing was marred by rain. I strongly advocate to avoid durga puja vacation time to tour north bengal.

Warm rooms with humble, helpful and very cooperating people. Good water availability with geyser. Splendid view from the rooms and close to mall road making it a perfect stay.
Good Morning Hotel

Hotel picture is quite misguided. Upper building is a private property. Hotel rooms are below ground/road level. Average budget hotel. Location is good. Rooms are very basic. No tv, geyser is not working properly, quality of food is not good. Bathroom is not properly ventilated. But staffs behaviour are good. Many better hotels are present there at the similar price.

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre.

Very nice and we'll behavior staff, only problem is bed it is not comfortable. If you have any back problem the spring mattress will increase it. More over in double bed they have inserted two single mattress. Which create very uncomfortable sleep for the person sleeping in the middle.
Golden Oren Hotels and Spa

Choosing this hotel was one the best decision for our trip to darjeeling. Hotel staffs were very nice and helpful and room was spacious. Many people were complaining about 81 stairs ( approx) but i was enjoying that. And the best part was about this hotel was that you can see the clear view of the kanchenjunga from the terrace. This hotel was very close to mall road. Will visit this hotel again. Thank you team golden oren.
