PROS: - very spacious room! and everything is clean, I was totally impressed when I arrived. - the staff not only helped me hire a tuktuk for a day tour but also recommended to hitch with another solo traveller for the same tour and date. won my budget, tour experience and also a new friend - very sumptuous breakfast! - the staff are very friendly. they served free tea after checkout while passing time and got a free history lesson and current events of Sri Lanka too - centrally located, just a stone throw away from the clock tower which is very close by the bus stops, restaurants and groceries CONS: none! I would totally recommend this property and would like to stay here again

Me and my partner stayed in Queens rest for 2 nights. Manoj and his family could have not been more accommodating if they tried! They were fantastic hosts, both breakfast and dinner was delicious every day, Sri Lanka Pineapple Cocktails were also wonderful. The treehouses were very well sized and surrounded by beautiful Sri Lankan flora and fauna with fresh fruit grown on site and lots of friendly critters - a wonderful jungle experience! Lions Rock and Pidurangala are both in walking distance - Manoj even drove us to Pidurangala at 5am so we could do the sunrise hike (highly recommend) free of charge. They also provided us with transport so we could go and see the Dambulla Cave Temples (also recommend) and visit local shops and spice garden. We truly loved our stay here and would visit again
