Nanshan Garden Hotel

A long-established hotel, standardized, safe and secure. The overall environment of the hotel is very good, both downstairs and the garden are great. After staying in a standard room in the east building for one night, I switched to a villa room. I regretted not discovering such a treasure earlier. The room is huge! The window view is stunning! Even the bathroom window view is great. It’s early summer, and the green outside the window is so beautiful! There are many scenic spots worth visiting in the hotel garden. The quality of the hotel is higher than the accommodation itself, so it is worth going back. Seven-star recommendation!

Located in Nanshan, a traditional high-end residential area in Dalian, the botanical garden and the children's park are within a few minutes' walk. The hotel was built in the 1980s. At that time, it was cheap, so a large piece of land was enclosed. It is the only garden-style hotel in the center of Dalian. The parking lot is so huge that many parents park their cars in the nearby schools when picking up their children after school. The guest rooms are not small, but the decoration design is relatively outdated. The washbasin and shower room do not drain smoothly, and the faucet opening method is opposite to that of most hotels, which requires adaptation. The rooms on non-smoking floors also have a very light smell of smoke, and the pillows are not elastic and collapse after sleeping for a while. It may be because of the off-season that there are fewer breakfast varieties. The advantage is that there are fewer guests and the rooms are very quiet. Tourists who like tranquility are recommended to choose here, and the surrounding blocks are also worth a walk.

The room was too old and it was difficult to open the door. The shower was a shower fixed on the wall, which was inconvenient. There was a barbecue stall downstairs and the hygiene was worrying. I contacted the front desk to change rooms, but they refused and said that the room was full. I could tell that I didn't want to change rooms, and my attitude was arrogant. When I communicated at the front desk about changing rooms, the male waiter asked why. I replied that the barbecue downstairs was noisy, but the separate old staircase room felt very eerie and unclear. The waiter thought that a new guest was checking in next to us and that he was a neighbor of our room. He thought that our answer would affect their hotel business. Not only did he not solve the problem, but he also taught me that I shouldn't say that. It was the first time I encountered such an unreasonable person. The front desk was there. Fortunately, I changed to the Dalian Hengli Hotel in Donggang in the next two days, which restored my good impression of Dalian.
