Excellent hotel. Upscale, comfortable, clean, friendly. Easy check in, accurate check out. Two beds, both good. TV, shower very good. Internet good. Nice and relaxing library - quiet. Very good parking. Location/access superb. I return to area in 10 days and I’ll stay here again. Heads up for the business traveler, however: Out of Cabernet and Chardonnay for happy hour Out of four (4) basic food items for happy hour/dinner Water no longer provided, bring your own or stay at Hilton or Hyatt Two of us in double room but only provided one (1) paper coffee cup and coffee packet, one small plastic “water cup” - Since maid service only “every other day” I stopped by front desk and got hesitation for more. Continuous, lighthearted but very loud vocal banter of food/beverage personnel was overpowering, several of us had to move to library to work on our paperwork, computers. All in all - a great Marriott property, just iron out the minor mgt. issues above.

I love staying here. Erica is the best person to great you when you first arrive. She remembers me, makes sure I can go ahead and check in because she knows I'm usually coming straight in from the airport. The hotel is very well kept, nice clean rooms, and friendly staff. I won't be staying anywhere else when I come into Cleveland for work!

Our first time at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised! Full disclosure, it’s the older style hotel that has the rooms all looking down to a central lounge/eating area. But they have clearly been trying to keep it current. We had a corner double and other than the shelving under the bathroom vanity in our room being slightly older, the other furniture, fixtures and lamps seemed fairly new. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. We also had a bigger tv on the wall in the living room than we expected. The staff members were courteous, as well. Would stay here again.

The room was clean. There was a refrigerator, microwave, sink, dishwasher and dishes in the room. The bathroom was super clean and I loved the shower. The hotel is connected to a Holiday Inn so there was access to a bar and restaurant without having to go outside. I would definitely recommend!

There is a complimentary breakfast and dinner, and there are a few glasses of alcoholic drinks in each room, free popcorn. There is a parking fee of 28 US dollars per day at the entrance of the hotel. There are many other parking garages around the hotel, usually about 10 US dollars a day. Overall very good

GGuest UserAlthough there are some tech issues with this place (resetting the room Chromecast would not get it to work and neither would the phone pairing/dishwasher is crazy loud/shower pressure adequate) the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere compensated sufficiently for this stay. Holly and the other staff make you feel like you're visiting with family (but not too close family) - like cousins - in a good way. So I felt welcome and the room and bed was comfortable, piling three of their marshmallow pillows enable me to get sufficient head support and the pool and gym are good enough for a short stay. Kitchen set-up is just enough to do the basics but has everything you need, the large fridge is great. The area set aside for dogs was well established and attended to, all the walks were regularly cleared of snow. As buffet breakfasts go I thought it was better than average at this point, with a small but well chosen selection that can cover all tastes and was not the usual dried out recycled buffet fare.

The Orbit stays true to its name, playing on the theme, with colors, wall coverings, and appointments reminiscent of the early 60's when there were 7 astronauts, a Mercury program, and a new organization called NASA. It sits in the shadow of the NASA Glenn Research Center and across the street from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave, K-cup coffee maker, and a nice big bathroom. The breakfast bar was well appointed with something for everyone to include an automatic pancake maker straight out of the Jetson's! I will be back.

We travel a lot and we always dread the free breakfast. They're usually stale doughnuts and weak coffee. The Holiday Inn Express, downtown Cleveland has a wonderful free breakfast buffet. Sausage gravy and biscuits, French toast, pancakes, pork sausage links, turkey sausage patties, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, four kinds of juice, hot coffee, chocolate and white milk, toast, bagels, pastries and oatmeal. We will stay here whenever we're in Cleveland. We love this place!

GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel in March 2022 and it wasn't bad at all. We had no shower gel, and no maid service but they said that was because of Covid. Okay. We just stayed there again this past weekend, for 4 nights, and the place has gone downhill a lot in 6 months. No one mentioned there was no maid service now unless you're staying a week or more. You must get your towels from the front desk. Add to that, they were still out of shower gel and we had to once again get in in a cup from the front desk. The young blond woman working the desk in the day is helpful, at least she responds and smiles when you look her way or need help. But the women at night were engrossed in their phones, never even looking up. It looks sloppy and very unprofessional. The male housekeeper in my hallway (third floor) had his hip-hop music so loud, I could still hear it once I got in my room. Our room was also across from the electrical/mechanical room so the men would talk loudly outside our door. (Note the room number 350-AVOID). Trash sat outside rooms because, once again, there was no maid service for under a week, and most of it was there my entire 4-night stay. I also made note of a plastic fork in my hallway EVERY day I was there, even AFTER housekeeping had cleaned some of the rooms for guests who had checked out. There was also trash in the elevator daily. The carpeting in the halls was dirty, too. Our room was somewhat clean, but I could write my name in the dust on the TV stand, and the kitchen needed a major cleaning, as well as the refrigerator. We needed ice but there was no ice machine, so you had to make ice in your freezer. The pillows smelled of oily hair, which was a huge turn-off. And our room description said we had a ”recliner” but we had a sofa with a lounge side. Big difference. Of course the frosting on the cake was the fire alarm going off on Sunday morning because someone down our hall didn't know how long to pop popcorn. SMH This hotel is drastically, and I mean DRASTICALLY overpriced at $133-151 a night. I would say $59 TOPS would be the max, once I got a peek at the place. GGuest UserI have been staying here for months, and this is hands down the WORST hotel chain in North America; honestly, I would expect better service at a Motel 6. If you are heading into town, I would recommend The Crown Plaza; it’s cheaper and much nicer; the amenities are 1000X nicer, they have hot food, and the staff is not RUDE, LAZY, or STUPID; heck you can go down the road five minutes and stay at The Best Western Plus for $50 a night and have much better amenities and a well-trained staff. It really shows what larger chains offers when it comes to Human Resources and Training Programs, and their parent company is heading into bankruptcy; hence why their prices are too high. I have several hundred hotels stays under my belt, and a hotel lobby should be welcoming and inviting, this one looks like a large storage closet/abandoned building/war bunker. They have stacked up furniture everywhere, garbage/empty boxes all over the place, and 10+ signs saying no guest access. Then when you get into the staff, it gets WORSE, much WORSE. Carla, The President/CEO of Sonesta Hotels (in her mind), has absolutely no business being in Guest Services, and you have to deal with her STUPIDITY, RUDENESS, and LAZINESS 80% of the mornings here; and talk about getting your day off to a HORRIBLE start; and it’s a race situation since I am white. If you need to get anything complete and she is working, your best bet is to wait till she leaves for the day or find a work around. She will literally talk in circles and confuse you, just so she can avoid doing any type of labor (she actually steals your intelligence and drive), she gets ANGRY when she has to get off her chair; grant it, she is normally sleeping in that chair, hiding behind a sign; hence why I was order not to use the dinning-room/war bunker entrance for coffee, and instead have to walk all the way around the building in the cold (she can’t hear me come in when I use the dining room entrance). I had an employee STEAL a package delivery, and then I got stuck working with the WORSE management team in the world. I was accused 6 different times of running a scam for $48; Please, I make 5x that in the amount of time it took to correct the PETTY THEFT. Santo demanded proof the package was delivered, which I supplied immediately, then 3 messages at the Front Desk and 1 phone call later zero response, I finally called corporate, sure enough, Santo calls the next morning ANGRY because I call corporate. When I first got here two months ago, I stayed right next to the noisy highway that pours pollution out, can’t be healthy, so I moved to the other side of the property, when I checked in the first time, I was given one key, on the second one, I was given two keys by Elissa. With the known THEFT problem here, I was straightening up for the 3rd time, since housekeeping was a no-show/no-call for two appointments earlier that week, and realized, I better grab that second room key before housekeeping STEALS it, low

GGuest UserThe only good thing about this hotel was the staff. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We were treated with kindness and made to feel welcome. Now the rest of the visit...this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was part of a package deal that included tickets to the Rock and Roll HOF which is the only reason we booked it. The landscaping had not been maintained and was basically an overgrown jungle. We had a total of 3 rooms for our group. Every room had multiple issues but I will list them all together: no cups, no coffee, no cream/sugar, mold in the bathroom, no ice bucket, hair dryer and coffee maker that didn't work (hair dryer actually shot out sparks), a twin size blanket on a queen bed, broken lock on room door....I could go on but I think you understand our disappointment.

JJIAYIA motel, just off the road! Breakfast is average, but can meet the basic needs, mainly bread, surprise is to do waffle, drinks: coffee, juice, and cereals and yogurt! Very close to the gas station, walk for 5 minutes; drive 10 minutes from Wal-Mart, 24 hours, great, everything! Suitable for driving, parking is convenient!

RRochelle CharetteIt was a little difficult to find. Its located in a very nice neighborhood, very clean and pleasant looking. The hotel itself looks older. Painted over lots of times. I reserved a smoking room with a queen bed because i only needed an overnight stay. Its a small room, with tv, ac unit, and a bathroom and shower stall. The room said it included breakfast, which was an absolute bonus as that meant one less thing to stop for. I was notified the following morning that breakfast was not being offered vecause 'of covid' and they hadn't offered breakfast in 2 years. In the breakfast room there were numerous rolls of what looked like old carpet. I was not made aware of this when checking in. The sheets were stained, as were bits of the carpet in the room. There was also no garbage can in the room - which is more of a convenience thing I suppose, and no refrigerator or microwave (I was not expecting these amenities, but I was hopeful). The room included some towels and toiletries along with a hairdryer which I did not use.
I think this is canon for ”you get what you pay for”.
