Niños Hotel Meloc

Amazing place! So cute with a peaceful courtyard and lovely restaurant/cafe on site. The room was clean and housekeeping was very attentive and all staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. The location is great and close to the main area of Cusco.

My first impression of the hotel was how beautiful and peaceful it looked! There is so much character, from the decor to the fact that every night they light candles throughout the hotel, its hard not to be impressed. My family of 3 booked a room with a bathroom and we enjoyed our stay. However a few things prevented the hotel from getting 5 stars in my book: the wifi jn the rooms is very patchy, there is no on site free filtered water, but most of all, the fact that smoking is permitted in the main courtyard. I found that very surprising. If they just fixed these things id for sure give this hotel five out of five. But still, id give it four stars!

We didn’t have to pay till we checked out. Communication with the hotel was great. They arranged for taxi pick up at the airport. Taxi pick up was only seven dollars. Check in was easy. Our room was ready by noon. We stayed in room Moises. It was upstairs. They don’t have elevators, so expect to lug your luggage upstairs on your own. The room was small, but it had everything we needed. It had a private Bathroom, Two beds, a sitting area. It also had a great little balcony that looked out into the street. The beds were comfortable. They are about twin size, so don’t expect to share. The room does not have air conditioning, but it was comfortable the whole time. At night it got a little cool, but it wasn’t unbearable. They did have a little heater in the room in case you wanted to turn that on. The room does not have an iron or a hairdryer. The restroom is small and there is not much counterspace. It worked perfectly for us. The shower pressure was great and there was always hot water. You did have to let the water run for a little while before the water came out hot. They give you one towel per person. I’m sure you could ask for more. Toiletries include bar soap and shampoo. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting Peru. The room was clean and the staff was excellent. Everyone was super nice. They have a restaurant downstairs that’s very inexpensive and open almost all day. They do have a luggage storage, but be aware that it is not locked. They do not have any safes. They do offer laundry services. I did my laundry twice. 6 kg for about 18 soles which equals about five dollars or less.

I loved this hotel so much. It is quite possibly my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in. As a matter of fact, on my final day in Cusco, I opted to stay the day at the hotel instead of venturing out in the city. Every inch of this hotel is impeccably decorated. It’s light, comfortable and airy. The courtyard is beautiful, as are the rooms. I especially enjoyed the hand painted walls throughout. It was so nice to book a very reasonably priced massage right there at the hotel for after our Inca Trail hike. We had a delicious breakfast next to the fireplace in the cafe. Be sure to stay here when in Cusco, and when you do, be sure to ask the significance of the room names.

Such a charming hotel close to the centre of Cusco . We stayed before and after the Inca trail in 2 different rooms. A lovely courtyard to relax in. Friendly and accommodating staff who were so helpful. Comfortable rooms and lovely onsite restaurant which provided good value and nutritious food. Luggage storage available if you are going on a trek. The only small negative was poor / absent wifi signal in the downstairs room. A perfect base for a visit to Cusco.

Excellent! We stayed here twice, once pre-Macchu Picchu and once post. The rooms are well-laid out and with plenty of space, the courtyard is gorgeous, the staff are friendly and helpful, AND the restaurant is terrific. They'll even do you a breakfast-on-the-road pack if you're leaving early for a trip, as we were. It's also located in a great spot, too - both quiet and well-located for an easy walk into the main part of Cusco.
