Hotel Inkayra

The male staff member didn't speak English, but he was very kind and helpful. I also appreciated the free breakfast. The location of the hotel was good, as all the tourist attractions were within walking distance. However, a local friend of mine told me that the area around the hotel was a little dangerous. However, I didn't encounter any danger and was able to stay comfortably.

Bad service, stained towels and sheets, very small rooms. Even though the prices are reasonable, I would not return nor do I recommend it. To enter you must ring the bell and sometimes it is difficult for them to open it, I think the bell is bad. Breakfast is poor.

We spent two days without hot water because they had a problem and couldn't fix it. Then, when we went to check out, they wanted to charge us extra for having used more than one bed (they gave me a room with 3, because according to them, there was no single bed available. Besides, when we left early for the tours, we had to trying to wake someone up to open the door, as there was no one at reception.

It is a small hotel that I would say is more of a hostel than a hotel, there are hostels that offer better service. This hotel is located in an area that looks very ugly but it is because it is in an area that is like a popular market. However, it is relatively close to the parade ground and looks unsafe, but in reality it is not. When you look at the photos on booking they have nothing to do with reality. Most of the rooms face the street and you cannot sleep because of the constant noise of the cars that, when passing over an unlevel platform that is right in front of the hotel, make a noise that wakes you up with every car that passes. In the photos that appear in *********** they show a complete breakfast with fruits, but they barely offer you only a package of cookies with jam and a ***** coffee or tea. In a week when we were only there for one day they gave us a fried egg and a piece of bread. The rooms are not luxurious and the blankets are like from the last century but let's say that is not so relevant since the beds are comfortable although small, they do not have a double bed for a couple. If you go as a couple, you have to sleep separately. There is hot water and wifi though. Or it works in the room, you have to go out to the corridor to have a signal.
