The best hostel experience I could have asked for. I spent a total of 4 nights at Casa Tunki - 3 in an 12 bed mixed dorm and 1 night in an 8 bed mixed dorm. The bed were incredibly comfortable and the dorms and bathrooms were very clean. The hostel was quiet and the included breakfast was great. The hospitality of all of the workers made me feel so welcomed as a solo traveler.

Casa Tunki is the best place I’ve ever stayed! It made my trip to Peru incredibly comfortable and unforgettable. The stylish décor and thoughtful amenities stood out, especially the hot water, which was always readily available with strong pressure—perfect for relaxing after a long day of trekking. The beds were perfectly balanced, clean, and cozy, with each thoughtfully provided with two pillows, making it hard to leave and tempting me to extend my stay. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, especially Yasmina. Her warmth and assistance made such a lasting impression that she has become a friend for life. Thanks to Casa Tunki, Cusco now feels like a second home, and I know I’ll return one day.

I have been backpacking for nearly 20 years and Casa Tunki has to be one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in! It feels much more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Individual capsule beds which were large and extremely comfortable with a down comforter and plenty of space to store your things. The common areas are beautiful, whether for relaxing and reading or having a coffee. There are also several balconies which look out to the street. The included breakfast is wonderful and beautifully plated and the French press coffee is perfect. They even pack you a snack bag if you're leaving early for a tour. I couldn't recommend this hostel highly enough, it was perfect for my week in Cusco!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. So beautiful, clean and comfortable. Yucely was always happy to help with anything and had lots of information for planning tours or moving around. They were happy to store luggage whilst I was away on Salkantay trek. Gracias.

Really relaxing stay at Casa Tunki, Cusco. Stayed prior to and post-Salkantay trek, and it was the perfect place to recover. Dorm rooms were very clean and spacious (probably the nicest dorms we have stayed in so far). Bathrooms and showers were so nice it felt like we were staying in a luxurious hotel rather than a hostel. Special shoutout goes to Jasmina, the lady who welcomed us at the front desk and looked after us our whole stay. Really helpful throughout, especially when organising our transport to the bus terminal late at night. Overall a great place to stay if you’re looking for relaxation/recuperation during your time in Cusco.
