The room is not big, and it takes about 12 minutes to walk to Plaza de Armas. The garden is beautiful, breakfast is provided, and the staff are warm and service-oriented. There is an electric heater in the room for a little warmth. Cusco is really cold in April. There are many small hotels like this in Cusco, which are very unique. The price is very suitable.

Very beautiful authentic hotel in the very center. In February the rooms are cool despite the presence of a heater. But it was very beautiful there. Incredibly delicious breakfasts. I recommend.

We had a great stay at El Balcon, the staff was friendly and made check in super easy. The rooms were clean and very cute. It gets chilly at night and they had heaters. The layout of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurant has delicious food, plus the chefs were super accommodating. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Good service, beautiful property. Rooms are freezing cold and the small heater they provide does absolutely nothing. Never been so cold in a hotel before. Not worth the price per room either honestly.

I thought that for the price of the suite, you would at least have wifi and adequate heating. I could not sleep unless the fire was going as it was so cold. I slept with my hoodie and sweats on additionally to multiple blankets I had asked for. There was also lots of noise at night which would wake me up every few hours. It was a very cute hotel and the food was quite good. Service was very kind. It’s about a fifteen minute walk down/up a steep hill to get to restaurants. Overall a very nice hotel if you’re paying a cheaper price, I wouldn’t bother with the suite.

Really great location and adorable place with a lot of charm. The staff was great and helpful, the breakfast was good, and they help our bags overnight for our one night trip to Aqua Calientes. Highly recommend! Only small issue was that our room for our second night was just next to the road, so we could hear cars rumbling down the cobble stones all night. If you're a light sleeper, it might be worth requesting a room on the other side of the courtyard.
