Supertramp Hostel Cusco Reviews

We stayed here in the blue 8-bed dorm for one night. Pros: - Beautiful view over Cusco - Good location - laundry place and small shops close by. It is more remote than other hostels, we arrived at night and didn't feel unsafe - Good food and the kitchen staff were very friendly - Modern beds with privacy curtain, shelf, lamp, and plugs - Friendly staff and guests - Cute pets! - Free tea throughout the day Cons: - Eating area - the eating area is outside with little/no heaters and a few blankets. Cusco is a nice temperature in the day, however, at night it gets freezing cold (we were wearing trousers, two jumpers, hat, scarf, gloves and we were still cold), this area is the only place that you can eat which isn't ideal Other: - Stairs - at the end of our trek both of our knees were very sore, with both of us finding it hard to walk properly. Honestly, the stairs were not that bad...it is literally two flights of stairs and then another in the hostel. If you have any level of fitness/are able bodied you should be able to cope with the stairs. - One member of staff was giving someone a massage in a room you have to walk through to get to the dorms - this was a bit awkward to walk in on...

It’s in a great location, the place has a great vibe, however our room (the green room) smelled like sewage from the bathroom 70% of the time and the breakfast starting at 8am makes little sense to me, since the unit in Machu Picchu it was 4:30 and we got breakfast. One terrible thing is that we can’t access the kitchen to get water, so we had to keep asking people from the hostel to get us water all the time. So that makes no sense to me, a hostel where you can’t get access to the kitchen by yourself. And to top it off if the breakfast starts at 8am, then we think there would be food at 8am, which did not happen in our last morning there because the cook didn’t even have a lighter for the stove, so we missed breakfast because we had to rush to the airport at 8:20. A good vibe, but these details are important (and basic) for a good stay.

Loved this place! Beautiful art and friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Great pizza. Evening entertainment that was magical And close to Saqsaywaman. And the centre of town There’s so much too see in Cusco. Helpful staff too ! Hot showers! Pleasant room! Loved this place!

Place full of good vibes, friendly people, treatment 10 out of 10, the rooms are clean and tidy, it has a wonderful view of Cusco and the best thing is their drinks are great and the craft beer is phenomenal, 100% recommended 💚

Very good atmosphere, the perfect combination of art and nature. Since we arrived, they welcomed us with a very good vibe, a lot of joy. Everything in perfect condition, with good music, very nice place. Beautiful!

The hostel is beautiful, the view is beautiful, super clean and tidy, but by far the best thing is the quality of the attention, the welcome is super warm. One of the best places to meet people from all over the world 🌍 Mega recommended

Super cool people who treat you like a friend and make you feel at home and encourage you to stay much longer, so much so that we are already thinking about whether to go out or stay to enjoy all the experiences they offer. Very happy to stay at SuperTramp!!!

It has a very happy atmosphere, the service is very friendly and the people you meet are also very friendly. Totally recommended for people who want to meet more people from more countries and share cultures.

The best hostel in all of Cusco! We booked through their website and what we loved was its location, just 15 minutes walk from the main square. The service was excellent, they took great care of us the 2 nights we stayed.

Very good!!! The rooms are super comfortable, they offer good breakfast, they have a restaurant with the best food and the hostel has an impressive view of the landscape. They also offer a variety of tours. I recommend it :)

Since I arrived, I liked everything, the art on the walls, nature everywhere, anyway it was better than I expected and how nice it was. The staff is very attentive and you can taste delicious Peruvian food. I recommend it for people who like a quieter hostel with nice people.

Great structure, very comfortable rooms and a spectacular view of the city. The bar is very cool with great food and drinks, sometimes there are events with live music, a good warm-up to Cusco's lively nightlife. Very attentive staff. I will definitely be back.
