The hotel is located 15 minutes walking distance away from the main square. It is quiet and peaceful but provides excellent approach to the historic city. The restaurant brought out an impressive breakfast every morning, and it even has a local artisan selling crafts and trinkets. The staff is extremely helpful and were able to book several taxi rides for us (all of which showed up at the right time) while we were there.

At this price, the hotel is fine, the service is good, the breakfast is plentiful, and its own courtyard is also very beautiful. The only drawback is that the hotel is built on an uphill road in Cusco at an altitude of 3,500 meters. , It is recommended to consider it when entering the hotel on foot, but the hotel provides free oxygen cylinders, which is still very good

This was a lovely hotel and we had a large room with gorgeous double sinked bathroom, jacquzzi bath and a separate shower with 4 x powerful water jets, and a rainfall shower. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially on the last day when our taxi was late arriving to collect us. The buffet breakfast was really good, but unfortunately the evening that we arrived our dinner was served in the internal atrium which was quite cold even though gas patio heaters were on - and then they turned them off, so our dinners were not exactly hot. So we went out to eat after that. The hotel was within easy walking distance to Cuzco's picturesque town square with the Cathedral and various bars, restaurants and tourist shops.

I was really hoping to leave this hotel a good review because I had higher expectations especially being that this is listed as a 4 star hotel but overall, I was left disappointed. My main disappointment and disgust comes from the fact that my husband and I got some weird body rashes after staying at this hotel which we had to seek medical attention for when we got back home. First let me start with the pros, Good location. For the most part staff was very nice, helpful, attentive and accommodating. Breakfast was included with our stay which was good and if you have an early morning tour, you can let the front desk know, and they’ll pack you a little snack bag to go. The hotel provided filtered water, and a welcome snack box of chocolates in our room which was nice. They also provided coca tea and leaves in the hotel and I even saw oxygen tanks for those who may need it that might be suffering from the altitude sickness. We enjoyed the pisco sour and ceviche making class (both were delicious) and we ordered a few drinks from the bar which were also good. We also enjoyed looking at Kiki, the alpaca. We had dinner our first night at the hotel which was ok. Now to the cons, for the time that we were there (early October) there is a water shortage going on in Cusco so the hotel informed us that we could not use any water from 11pm - 3am (not a big deal for us) but a few times during our stay outside of these hours they indicated when we tried to take a shower at night (around 8-9pm) before bed the water wasn’t running. Also, be aware that you can hear everything from the rooms, it is not insulated. Not sure if this is the case for most hotels in Cusco but something to note if you are a very light sleeper. We could hear every sound, from people’s conversation, arguments, dogs barking outside, everyone that was passing by and every footsteps past our room while we were asleep at all random hours of the night into the morning. Now to the MAJOR con that was the MAIN reason this review only 2 stars, after the first night or two when I was sleeping in the bed, the back of my left leg was itching me and my husband noticed some sort of weird rash on his finger. Shortly, after when we got home, we noticed a few more rashes on our bodies (all of which looked like exactly the same rash that happened on the back of my left leg that was itching me after sleeping in the bed). My husband got triple the amount of rashes then I did, so concerned we went to a Doctor not knowing what these weird rashes could be from and the doctor informed us that this was a rash that was likely caused by the sheets we were sleeping on and had to prescribe an ointment and pill for us to take so it could go away but told us to stay on top of it to make sure it doesn’t get worse otherwise we’ll have to go back to seek further treatment (hopefully that isn’t the case). To end the review, overall the cons outweigh the pros. I can’t say I would not stay at this hotel ever again or re

The best hotel experience for me in all of my travel. The saying you get what you paid for is so accurate. Yes, it’s pricey to stay here but boy is it worth it. This hotel is truly a paradise and oasis for your long day of traveling and hiking. First the hotel is beautiful and centrally located. There are so many activities and amenities that the guests can participate in the hotel. We did the hotel tour and interacted with the baby alpaca. Second, the room and the amenities provided in the room were so carefully throughout. The food during breakfast was great and there were varieties. But what truly make this hotel stand out for me is the staff. From the bellboy, to the front desks and the servers.. all the staff treated all the guests with care. We had an issue with our pickup at the train station (no fault of the hotel or us) but they were very apologetically about it and the staff wanted to make sure we were ok which we were. All in all., if you have the money to spend.. stay here. It was such an amazing two nights experience for my husband and I,

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cusco for 4 nights total - 3 before our Inca Trail trek with Alpaca Expeditions and 1 night after the trek. We arranged with HGI to store our large luggage while we were gone for the 5 day/4 night trek. Very simple process to do this and all our belongings were kept safe and sound and returned to us in good order. Overall the HGI was a good place to stay. It is is about a 15 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, uphill all the way. We didn't mind so much since that helped get us ready for our trek. It's in a quiet area. The Plaza is quite busy and noisy, and was especially the night a political rally was being held. I was glad our hotel was not right on the plaza that night. Rooms were a nice size. Our first room was a king-size bed with a view of Cusco. The second room had a view of the courtyard. Both had hot showers, room safe, blow-dryer, and toiletries. One thing to note is that the hotel floors are reversed from the norm. You enter the lobby at street level and then go DOWN to floors 1,2,3, and 4. Ask for a room on Floor 2 or below. Floor 1 is right underneath the lobby and we were kept awake by the sounds of walking, chairs scraping, etc. until quite late at night after we returned for one night after the trek. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered quite a variety of choices. The main reason we give this HGI only 4 stars is for the laundry issue. After a week in Peru, we needed to do laundry when we arrived at HGI. Yes, there are laundry facilities in the hotel. However, you can't just put in a few soles, add your own soap, and wash a load. Noooo, they have it fixed so that you MUST purchase a packet of tokens, detergent, and softener from them for a whopping 52 soles!! That's outrageous and taking advantage of a ”captive audience.” Well, not these guests. We simply bagged up our laundry and dropped it off at one of the dozens of laundry shops on the street right around the corner. It cost us 36 soles AND we supported a local, family-run business. Win-win. And boo on HGI for boasting about laundry facilities they actually charge an arm and a leg to use.

This is a beautiful building in a great location. The doormen and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with most amenities. I was however quite shocked to find paper cups in the room to drink tea from. I’ve never come across that before! I had to put one inside another so’s it didn’t bend when I picked it up. The bed was large and comfortable although it was quite noisy from very early in the morning as breakfast starts at 4.30. Breakfast was adequate although we found it hard to get orange juice. Papaya was the juice on offer . The bar and restaurant were very good. A great hotel in a great location to explore Cusco.

Very close to the scenic area, the service is very good, there is a question and answer, the wifi speed is also ok, the room has heating, very new, the lighting effect is very good, there is a free pick-up, there is a travel agent to facilitate a day trip, but the price is more expensive than the outside point. Breakfast is not too bad, the drink fruit is very rich. However, it is very strange that the price of Ctrip has changed. I decided to place more than 800 orders on the first night. The payment will not move. After half a day, I found that the price has become more than 900, so I changed it to more than 900. pay. Stayed for one night and wanted to continue, the Ctrip price became 1400, and then 1600. Later, I continued to stay at the front desk for the first night of Ctrip. In the next few days, Ctrip is still in this situation. It has changed and the hotel has been giving me a fixed price. I don't understand why Ctrip is doing this at this hotel.

Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco

Hotel near Cusco
Monasterio - A Belmond Hotel - is centrally located in Cusco - a two block walk from the Plaza de Armas - Cuscos central square where the cathedral and most important museums are located. The hotels central location provides an ideal base from which to discover Cusco and the ancient ruins of Sacsayhuaman - Pisac and several other archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley. Machu Picchu can be reached via a spectacular three-hour train journey from Cusco. . Part of the magic is that from the outside - the whitewashed stone walls of Monasterio give little hint as to the splendid interiors within. But step inside the hotels cool - quiet confines and you will see graceful stone arches - cobblestones and original oil paintings. Stroll a little further and you will come to our cloistered courtyard complete with lush - scented gardens and a fountain. Its here you will find a 300 year-old cedar tree - a testament to the living history of this special place. Guests have remarked that spending evenings in the courtyard under starry skies makes them feel like they have been transported into a lyrical novel. . It is blissfully tranquil here/ and there is no need to worry about Cuscos altitude. Besides the muna tea you will be welcomed with - you can request a room with oxygen-enriched air. Our butler will even draw you a bath - for some well-earned relaxation after exploring the city. Whats so heart-warming about Monasterio is its personal touches. Oil paintings adorn the walls of our bedrooms - and the hotel as a whole houses one of Cuscos finest collections of 18th/century colonial religious art.

TTravel13945106020This place is a gem. We had spent a couple of night at the Sonesta, which isn't bad at all, but they couldn't offer us a room after we returned from Macho Picchu. The Cooper was a wonderful replacement. Clean, well lit, pleasant and efficient service, great breakfast, proper shower with decent water pressure (much appreciated after a long hike) and great value for money. The only negative point was a room that didn't have an outside window. Not sure we'll ever return to Cusco, but if we do, we'll stay here.

GGuest UserKatari Apart Hotel at Qorikancha was the perfect accommodation for my 3-day trip to Cusco! It is in a great central location, within walking distance to the various plazas with shopping and restaurants. My room was great - clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and private bathroom. Alex was an INCREDIBLE host - he was so attentive and responsive and gave me some excellent recommendations for things to do and see and restaurants to eat at. I was able to store my luggage after check out on my last day since I had an evening flight and Alex helped hail a taxi for me to ensure a fair price and safe ride.

Awesome place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff! Gerson was amazing since we made the booking. He started chatting and asking if we needed help with anything else and we surely did so he kind of organised most of the stuff for us! Transfers, laundry, booking of tours, booking restaurants and massages and even a private tour he did with us! Super happy with his honesty and services. Definitely recommended hotel with nice breakfast! About 1km from city center on a quiet street which was exactly what we were looking for.

GGimenezPabloThis hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the markets & main plaza. The beds are comfortable. Rooms with king bed are small. The courtyard is nice. The breakfast was average to below average. The internet is free but intermittent at best. There is a nightclub nearby which plays loud music until 3:30am which makes it really difficult to sleep. The reason I'm giving this hotel a 3 star is because of the excellent service we received from Oscar Silva Casafranca. He was courteous, efficient and always pleasant & smiling. He helped with our baggage & was quick to answer any questions or queries we had. He's a huge asset to this hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a fabulous 3 night stay in the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel. All of the staff (Leslie, Laura, Marjorie and Mari) were super friendly, attentive and accommodating. When we first arrived my wife was really struggling with the altitude and Leslie sprung into action (completely unprompted) bringing coca leaf tea, and some type of rose oil to her right away, saving the day. Leslie went above and beyond in assisting us ! The location of the hotel is hard to beat, right in the heart of the historic San Blas neighborhood. We ate breakfast at the hotel, made to order by Mari and it was delicious!! We would highly recommend anyone staying in Cusco, to stay at the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel !

This was a good location for Cusco - only a short walk downhill to the centre of Cusco and all it has to offer. We missed our flight and arrived really late so they organised a driver to pick us up from the airport and take us straight to the train station so we could continue onto Machu Picchu. They minded our luggage until we returned and organised for the driver to pick us up from the train. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even advised what price we should pay for the taxi. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was included with a good selection of food including eggs. Tea and coffee was available free of charge at any time. Genuinely nice and helpful people. It is a small hotel with no lift but our bags were carried up and down the stairs without asking.

GGuest UserThe friendliest and most helpful receptionist that I've ever met works at Bear Packer in Cuzco, and his name is Bruno. Gracias por todo!! Apart from that, Bear Packer has free breakfast, free storage, free wifi, nice beds, a good location in Cuzco and beautiful murals all over the hostel. If I can wish something for my future visits, it would be a more sturdy system around the locking of the storage boxes (not the padlock itself, but the metal / wood that I attach the padlock to, to be more trustworthy). Thanks! Sofia

Cuzco Main Square

泰宁根吴承恩I went to several cities in Peru and found that there seemed to be weapons squares, which seemed to be standard. The weapons square building is very beautiful, the center of the square is the church, and there was a program here at the time, we happened to see a very beautiful show.

Qorikancha

Cchinadesk1The Temple of the Sun in Cusco has a long history. The ticket to the Temple of the Sun in Cusco (QORIKANCHA) is 15 pesos. There are many tourists, all of whom use headphones to listen to the explanations. Although there are many people, there is no noise. It is very large inside, and basically introduces religious content, Inca culture, and development during the Spanish colonial period. It shows that Cusco was the Inca center at that time. There is also an introduction to the architecture of the Inca period. The whole piece of large stone is stacked tightly without gaps, showing the original stone stacking. The courtyard is very large, and there is a well in the middle. The paintings on the wall show the ancient people's understanding and belief in the sun. It takes more than an hour to look closely.

Cusco Cathedral

Cchinadesk1Mexico Cathedral (La Catedral de Mexico) is located in the Plaza de la Constitución. It is the largest and most important Catholic church in Mexico. There are many ornate relief paintings on the dome. The main altar is inlaid with various gold and silver jewels and noble and ornate carvings, as well as large religious paintings, and an ivory-carved statue of Christ on the cross in the middle.

Museo Inka

DDEAR张小球The Inca Museum is a museum we really want to visit during our trip to explore the ancient Inca country in Peru. Here, we can learn about the long civilization through cultural relics and historical materials, which makes our next trip to Machu Picchu more targeted.

Saqsaywaman

DDEAR张小球Saxewaman is located on a mountaintop, and its historical position is comparable to Machu Picchu, but its reputation is relatively small. It is still very beautiful to stand in Saxewaman and look out over the city

Hatunrumiyoc

DDEAR张小球A very magical place, it is difficult to understand or imagine how people thousands of years ago could make such a complete station into stone walls, and this is also a place with local characteristics, you can appreciate the local customs and customs of the locals.

Museo de Arte Precolombino(MAP)

DDEAR张小球Cusco is the former capital, and the Art Museum is a place worth visiting. The long-standing Inca civilization, through the museum's display, let us have a preliminary understanding, which is very helpful for going to Machu Picchu

Mercado San Blas

泰宁根吴承恩We visited the main attractions during the day and walked around San Blas at night. It was a very lively place with a lot of feeling. The old houses and different small shops were very interesting to walk around slowly.

Plaza de San Francisco

DDEAR张小球San Francisco Square is a very beautiful square, the square is not very big, surrounded by some historical and colonial-era buildings, and if you walk around the square, you can also experience the streets of local life.
