B&B Hotel Creil Chantilly Reviews

Avoid, unless you're desperate! We booked a family room for one night to break up a long journey, we chose the location as its not too far from railway stations to visit Paris, which turned out to be the only good feature of the hotel. We contacted the hotel two weeks before departure to see if it was possible to check in early. They told it was if there was a vacant room the previous night so arranged to get there at 11:00 to find reception was closed. We use the intercom in the lobby to contact remote staff who told us to come back at 14:00 and we would not have been told early check in was possible, even though we have emails to prove this. Luckily Chantilly is only 15 minutes away and was nice to explore. When we arrived for the second time at 14:00, the remote check-in machine didn't work properly and a grumpy but helpful security guard helped us find a solution to enter the hotel. Once inside we noticed mud all over the floor and dirty walls in the dimly lit corridors. Upon reaching our room, we found they were desperately in need of maintenance and again quite unclean. It was quite cheap but even so we expected it to be clean.

The hotel is in a good location. Conceptually, this is the maximum efficiency that can be obtained from such hotels. However, the staff was friendly and attentive. The beverage machine broke down on the last day and it is a pity that there was no early intervention.

Pleasant stay THANKS

After a day on the road which was very complicated, not having had time to reserve a room for the night, I arrived at the B&B hotel in Creil. The person in charge of reception, Karine, tells me that the hotel is full. Accumulating the problems, I almost collapsed because I was only waiting for one thing: to shower and sleep. Seeing my state of despair, Karine was kind enough to find me an "emergency" room which was not officially available. What happiness! Thank you Karine for your kindness and understanding. It's quite remarkable to still be able to count on the kindness of a person in this day and age. So 5 well-deserved stars for Karine and for the B&B hotel in Creil!

Very practical chain hotel because the offer is not very generous in Creil. This is its only advantage. To say Creil-Chantilly is abusive, the hotel is located on the edge of a gigantic commercial area in Creil, Chantilly is about ten kilometers away and, for those who know the area, the two towns are extremely different. This is the first time someone has kept my passport in exchange for a hairdryer!!! Poor breakfast. Professional receptionist. Classic room for this type of hotel.

Unfortunately, a very run-down hotel, in urgent need of renovation. On the positive side, the friendly staff and the quick, uncomplicated check-in and payment process, including changing rooms, are worth mentioning. Overall, the hotel is very shabby and cleaning is neglected. In the hallways, for example, the cleaners can no longer find the corners, and the edge of the wall is also really dusty. In the room, however, there was clean linen and a clean floor, so that was OK. The overall impression, however, is: "Well, it's OK for one night." The hotel is in an industrial area and is surrounded by busy roads. As the air conditioning only worked very poorly (the air conditioning was running and slightly cool air came out of the vents, but the room didn't get any cooler), we slept with the window open and didn't sleep particularly well because of the traffic noise. We had to change the first room because the faucet in the bathroom was completely loose; it tipped over at the slightest touch and was practically unusable. However, as already mentioned, changing rooms was quick and uncomplicated. Parking is free and there are a few restaurants within walking distance for dinner. Breakfast costs extra (€8.50) and is quite simple, but OK. The cleanliness of the dishes and cutlery could be improved, but the selection is OK (scrambled eggs and bacon, baguette rolls, croissants, chocolate rolls, jam, coffee, juice, water - OK). At best for an overnight stay when passing through (arrive late, stay overnight, have breakfast and leave quickly). It's a shame, this is my first negative experience with B&B hotels.

The quality of this chain hotel is second to none: very good comfort and cleanliness. However, we were surprised by the somewhat cold and suspicious, rather hasty welcome. The breakfast is also a little light for the price.

Staff a little slow to relax, not very well soundproofed the room is minimalist, the bathroom quite small, the headboard was not mounted correctly, comfort level the mattress leaves something to be desired..In short fortunately the guy was a good hit.

Après plus de 650 km pour rejoindre Creil, il m’a fallut encore ~40 mn pour récupérer ma chambre, pourtant réservée et prépayée… croisez les doigts pour ne pas tomber sur la petite brunette de la réception car je n’étais de loin pas une exception 🫣 les clients s’empilant à la réception lors de chacun de mes passages…
