We stayed with a friend in a private room in a rooftop room. It was very nice, clean, and we had our own terrace! It was mostly quiet. If someone cannot stand noise than dont book this room as 2-3 times a day loud music was coming from the resort nearby (only short time, it was part of thr daily animation for the guests). We were surprised at the beginning but then it became part of our life :) The staff in the hostel is very friendly and easy going, the room was good sized, comfy beds, will be missed!

Booked and paid extra for a Seaview as have stayed many times in correlejo before in this area, however not these apartments and know this is where you can view a stunning sunset. However there is now a new road just outside (as never used to be a through route) which is very busy at certain times especially first thing when we would like to eat on the balcony which we were unable to do as we were at road level and is was very noisy, therefore unable to enjoy the sea view (however not hotels fault) . We were given room right next to reception and the bar, when we arrived at around midday we were informed could not go to the room until 3pm. When we got into our apartment it seemed quite new and clean with the exception of ants in the bathroom. First night couldn't sleep as our bedroom window was by the walkway from the reception entrance where everyone entered after being out for the evening and with the bar next to us playing loud music and people singing karako until 2am we had little sleep listening to him who ”had it my way”! The icing on the cake was the next morning seeing hundreds of ants in the kitchen over our eggs and bread that were on the kitchen side. We asked to move rooms however the reception manager said they were full. So we decided to leave the hotel and go elsewhere only staying one night. We walked around the grounds, the area around the pool was dirty, people leaving food on the floor everywhere with broken tiles in the pool and the pool water not looking too clean. We had a much better experience once gone. We love correlejo as have been many times but will never stay in this hotel again. Jet2 rep is amazing, a big thank you to Annabel for her assistance and improving our holiday.

TRIP ADVISOR REVIEW BRISTOL SUNSET BEACH Room 21K block 2, easy access by lift to roof bar/ breakfast etc. We were last drop off , ( some one has to be!)so a while on the bus, so after 11 pm by the time we were dropped off right outside the hotel. Checkin no problem, courteous staff, and on discovering there was no water in room and no change for vending machine, decided to go out near midnight to purchase some; a very kind girl, possibly from roof bar or gym, said not to go out and fetched a large bottle of water from bar to tide us over for the time being, very kind, thanks. We did pop out anyway, nearby pub for holiday pint.. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, nice and modern, full size fridge freezer and a dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable and great pillows. There’s also a tv in living area and bedroom, not that we really watch tv on holiday. The shower is really good, rain, waterfall, and body directed jets as well as hand held with 3 settings. There was a small balcony with table and 2 chairs, looks onto gardens and the adjacent block; never got the sun though. Breakfast is buffet, served on roof, usual selection and enough choice to start your day, the view from roof terrace is lovely, out to sea and land. We never used the bar at night as music square, restaurants are 10 minute walk away( we’re older..) but never had any issues with loud music playing into the night, bar closes 11pm most nights and midnight at weekend, we were told, but we’re not early bedders on holiday, midnight usually. The music played during breakfast and rest of day is a good mix and pleasant. The pool is small, but adequate, always managed to get a sun bed if we wanted one, but area is smaller than usual. Bedroom only (not living area)had a large cooling fan and worked well to keep room cool during our stay. Restaurants on seafront are good and not as expensive as you would think for restaurants in that location, we went to Sotavento 3 times, very nice, also La Playita, on the ***** try La Tasha and for good food but grumpiest waiters in the world😉 try El Toro Bravo. Walking to music square etc May take a couple of tries if you dont check your street map first, to get the shortest route, but once you’ve found your way, it’s easy, also, coming out of hotel, turn right instead of left you have a nice costal route, about a leisure 30 minutes to harbour/ marina and start of restaurants approaching from opposite direction.

We didn't book direct. Instead we opted to book a private apartment with air bnb. Such a contrast to the other reviews. Our apartment was impeccable! Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with everything you could want or need. So the complaints about infestations and no towells did not apply to us. We did love the complex. The poolside bar/snack bar did shut at 7pm but that wasn't a problem as the local shopping centre had many fantastic restaurants and it was barely 2 minutes walk. The pool bar is just that ..... for when your at the pool. There were lots of sundowners and it was quiet and relaxing. We spent many evenings just sitting on our terrace watching the hedgehogs foraging. It was bliss. The only downside was that the poolside floor was not fit for purpose. I slipped badly coming out if the pool and Huryt myself. I did see 2 other people slip also. The floor around the pool needs some anti slip tape or artificial grass added to stopvthis else someone will have a serious accident. It did not affect everyone. I have mobility problems and the other 2 people were 60+ ish. I was happy just not to go in the pool tho. It was a shame but the pros of the complex outweighed the cons. 4€ in a taxi to the main ***** or a 15 minute walk to either the ***** or the closest beach. 2 minutes to an extensive supermarket, shops, bars, chemist and bus terminus but still with peace and tranquility. The vibe on the complex was good and the Liverpudlian family didn't bother me. I enjoyed watching their 2 children play happily. The staff are friendly and the grounds and gardens are meticulously tended too. Lots of greenery in a stark landscape. We will book again.
