Corralejo Lodge

Raquel, the owner, is a gem and couldn't have been more helpful. We'd arrived tired and hungry and Reception was closed, but the cleaner was able to let us into our room, which we discovered had a double bed, not the two singles we'd requested. So we were initially very grumpy, but once I'd worked out how to contact Raquel through the ******* app and had spoken to her she was very apologetic and got it sorted after a couple of hours. From then on we had a wonderful holiday and if Raquel wasn't there she was always available on the phone, and so helpful. We would definitely go back. It's a small property, about 20-30 mins' walk from the main touristy area, but that suited us fine. There's a supermarket, bars and a couple of decent restaurants 5 minutes away.

Disappointing. If you are looking for an inexpensive stay then you probably pay for what you get and this may fit the bill. A little tatty and in some areas not very well cleaned. Small kitchenette allows you to Cater for yourself albeit on a simple scale. A bit noisy as next to a relatively busy road and the main access path runs immediately outside all rooms which could make privacy an issue, if this is important to you. Owners pleasant enough and helpful. Reminds me of the roadside Motels in America. Serves a purpose especially if you are looking to play tennis but deluxe is not a word I would associate with these rooms.

My friend and I had a lovely stay here. The lodge is easy to reach, offers internal parking and is close to a supermarket. The room was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the service was amazing. We're considering booking this place again in the future. Would recommend!

The room was very clean and comfortable! Kitchen is small but well equipped with all the necessary things. Just what we needed and more than enough. Very quiet as well. It is only 2 min away from the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. And if you want to have a nice walk just walk down its just 10 min. We will be back for sure but for a longer period. Stayed prior to covid and enjoyed this small lodge, however, came back for new year and it’s not so good. The attention to detail has gone and the place is looking worse for wear. Rooms need a good clean and someone to ensure the cleaner is doing their job. Room 6 had mould all over the windows, in the bathroom and kitchen area, this made the room quite smelly and damp. I’m sure they were aware of this because of the smelly plug ins around the room. Not enough plates and glasses for 2 people and what was their was cracked and chipped. The owner/manager tried to blame bad weather, which was rubbish as we had been on Corralejo for quite a long time before staying at Corralejo Lodge and the weather was great. They did paint over the mould and disinfectant it and arranged for it to be sorted properly after the new year, my point is, it should have been done prior to our arrival. Unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend it return. Look at the pictures in my review from a few years ago and you can see the difference.

Have stayed before but unfortunately the standards have slipped. We had mould in the kitchen and bathroom area which made the room smell damp and nasty. In the kitchen, lots of the crockery and cutlery was missing. The cleaning was very basic and lacked any attention to detail. The owner made excise after excise, bad weather (I’d been staying elsewhere in corralejo for some time before and no bad weather). Overall a disappointing stay and we will not be retiring again.

Stayed in 2019 and loved the place, now it’s a dump. Pool hasn’t been cleaned for a long time , full of rubbish and dirty water. Rooms are not good , mould all over the ceilings and windows. Damaged floor. Not enough plates etc. All the tiles in the bathroom are broken or missing. Avoid at all costs. We are so so disappointed this time.

You have anything you need. Really comfortable bed and bigger than expected.

beautiful room with great facilities. Close to the market and 15 mins away from the beach/ shopping centre. When we needed help everyone was extremely nice and helpful. All round great experience, would definitely stay again :)
