"The breakfast was fantastic. The cooks kept bringing items out as soon as they were empty. Cereal bar, oatmeal bar, fruit bar, pastries, toasts, made-to-order omelets and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes and pancakes. The customer service was great, however you have to ask for your room to be cleaned. The room was lacking some good old scrubbing, but that’s why I travel with my Clorox wipes. Overall, great experience!"

"The service is average. The location of the hotel is very good. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the moonrise in the evening. The scenery is very beautiful. There are restaurants and shops in the surrounding area, and you can walk to several small island-style parks on the seaside, as well as museums and art galleries. The coastal promenade is also very beautiful, with popular science installations that travel through the solar system, and other art installations. Convenient to the Lexington Aircraft Carrier Museum and Aquarium/Animal Conservation Center across the river. In short, if you are not asking for a sexual vacation, staying here is a good value for money."

"I had a lovely experience. The hotel appeared to have been recently updated and had a relaxing and modern atmosphere. The staff at reception were so friendly and really went the extra mile in helping me with a few queries I had. The direct access to the beach was appreciated and it was nice to have a pool as well. My room felt very luxurious and was decorated nicely. There are shops nearby and the area is convenient. A great stay and I’m glad I chose it! "

"The concierge was a little cold. My room was very clean, and the bathroom was nice; just need to clean the shower little better. Due to virus they didn’t serve breakfast but they did have packaged muffins and granola bars on a table in front of the check-in. "

Very Good
EElliotStaff were always amazing, kind, courteous and very professional! They were incredibly quick to check me in and out. Rooms were almost immaculate, could do with a makeover, but didn't have a problem. The beds were a bit too soft for my liking however, can see some liking them.
All in all though, a great trip and would definitely revisit.

GGuest UserWe have stayed multiple times at this hotel and they have always been positive experiences. Starting at check-in the staff is very friendly and professional. Sid was our check-in clerk during our stay. He would check on us daily when we passed by the check-in desk. The staff has always gone out of their way to make you feel at home. The hotel and rooms have always been exceptionally clean. The rooms have kitchenettes which is a big plus for families on a budget (eat in vs eating out). The microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and sink have always been spotless. The restrooms are clean and fully functional with no drain or water pressure problems. The bed and linens have always been clean. Daily room cleaning will be upon request. The free breakfast is good. It will include all you can eat eggs, sausage or bacon, a variety of breads including making your own waffle, fruits, cereals, juices and yogurts. The only thing that may be a negative to some customers is that the hotel has no pool. Highly recommend this hotel and we will be staying again in the future.

GGuest UserI’m usually pretty happy staying at LaQ and this time was no exception. My only big issue was there was mold growing under the silicone caulk around the tub. I feel this should have been cleaned and replaced. I also would have liked more than 1 regular coffee pack….there was 1 reg/1 decaf for 2 adults who love their coffee.The walls are a little thin, we could hear our neighbors and their children come in at 2am. Other than that our stay was great! Check in was flawless, staff was nice and attentive, bed was comfy, A/C worked great, breakfast smelled yummy but we didn’t have time to eat. Price was excellent for a last minute, holiday weekend booking. I would stay here again!

MMonicaI always travel with my service dog and was pleased to see this location had a ”dog area”. This area had grass well cut, however, there was trash everywhere and the doggie waste station was broken. The waste basket was on the ground and there were no waste bags in the receptacle. I always have bags with me but it's nice to know they're available should a guest forget theirs.
The elevator floor linoleum was very old and dated with chips in it upon entering.
The floor I was on was quite noisy all night. There was a smaller dog barking non-stop for hours. A baby crying/wailing for about 15 minutes( so loud I could hear the baby in my room), the room next to me had their TV on super loud until after 3:30 a.m.
I know it was this time because my dog had to relieve himself at 3:10 a.m.
The staff was the shining light here. The check in agent was friendly and very efficient. The housekeepers were all very friendly as they all said hello upon passing any of them and the check out agent was friendly. Maintenance crew were nice when I ran into them in the hallways.
The staff is what kept me from giving this location all poor ratings. The location was alot further from the beach than I anticipated. Probably won't stay here again due to location and conditions described in review.

GGuest UserHad a good night at Motel 6 in Corpus Christi room was clean with 2 beds and shower. Only thing I was disappointed in was the small bars of soap to shower with , so bring your own body wash. The a/c cooled but humidity was heavy in room . Possibly since near bay ac was not able to handle it. But overall it was efficient and local was great

Location was great about 15 min from north beach, aquarium, and the Lexington, hotel was very close to shopping and food/restaurants, lots of options and things to do also close to the trade center (indoor market) service was great we were a family of 5 and our first time traveling and staying in a hotel as a family and the service wIas amazing they helped with everything answered all my questions and didn't get bothered by us constantly asking for towels and for all the sand to be cleaned up in our room. we stayed 4 days 3 nights amenities were great I gave it a 3 because no laundry services what so ever and we were back and forth from the beach and night fishing and that was a need for us so I ended up having to go to the laundromat we didn't use their pool or gym but it is provided and their free breakfast was great overall great stay 😀 👍

You have to pay for breakfast which used to be free & everything was closed.. there pool & restaurant. But very nice place

LLIANGThe hotel is relatively clean, but the details are not enough, and small indoor objects need to be further improved, such as alarm clocks or telephones, the dust on the outside surface of the machine is cleaned up.
