Overall we had a lovely holiday. The hotel was great, really clean, staff all friendly and helpful. Our flight was delayed and we arrived just as the restaurant was closing, but they were very accommodating, and let us leave our luggage, go and eat, and then come back to check in when we were ready. The daily sports and games entertainment was great, and not ”in your face” like in some hotels I have stayed previously. The entertainment team were also very good, and hard working. The sunbeds, although we had to get up at 7am to get them, were really comfortable, and we were really impressed with how many parasols there were and shaded areas. All the pool areas were clean and comfortable, as was the restaurant and pool bar. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and couldn't fault it, it was huge and very comfortable. The food wasn't bad, it was a good standard, just very very repetitive so despite us being all inclusive, we ate out 3 times in 10 nights as we were so bored of eating the same thing for lunch and dinner every day. The grill and Italian restaurants were nice to sit in for a more relaxing meal, but the food was just a variation of what you get in the main restaurant, although we heard the Asian one was good, my children didn't want to eat there so we didn't go. The evening entertainment was a bit lacking, again not bad, just a bit boring, the one we enjoyed the most was Rolling Stones V The Beatles, the singer and guitarist were excellent. The Riu Neon Party night was an experience! Definitely fun but also definitely not for everyone! It was very loud, very busy and quite uncomfortable. As adults we enjoyed the music, but my children (13 and 10) hated it. They really didn't like how busy it was, and I have to say, we were all a bit apprehensive about the number of people that were there from other hotels. Also there is no seating in the party area and the children did not want to stand all night. It would have been really good if the other bar area, or the grill restaurant at the other end of the complex were open for people who didn't want to join in the party. I knew Playa Paraiso was quiet, but wasn't quite prepared for how quiet, there is really not very much to do outside of the hotel complex, just a few shops and some restaurants. We ate in ”Yummy's” and the food was lovely. It was 15 euros each way in a taxi to Adeje, which we went to twice to go shopping and experience the bustle of a busier area. There is a bus service, but I didn't actually see a bus the whole time we were there. I would recommend going to the Hard Rock Hotel which is only 10 mins walk, in the evening, and having a cocktail on the rooftop bar, there are amazing views at sunset!
Very Good
